The Results!
Kahn 40-16 (20-8, 20-8)
Andarc 22-11 (11-8, 13-3)
Corselia 17-15 (5-10, 11-5)

Chuck 9-14 (2-9, 7-5)
Yukimaru 2-10 (0-6, 2-4)

Chuck didn't stand a chance against elemental panels and the ability to get smash damage with losing nearly all your HP. Yukimaru...needs to get out of Middle.

And now for our first batch of quarterfinal contestants!
2. Camus- Continued his first round domination, keeping his number 2 seed.
3. Kahn- On the other hand, jumped up from 13th place last round!
6. Andarc- And he was from 18th place
7. Junpei- As someone who's already Middle, his pride dictates that he cannot fail!
9. Beecham- His normal mediocre performances won't cut it here! Also, needs to get into the DL again.
11. Tia- Yet another climber, she was 19th after round 1. Still, comes in last place.

Camus (S2) vs. Gruga (AtL2) - Heal-locks.
Camus (S2) vs. Cormag (FE7) - I remember looking at Camus' damage with a Final Flame and going O_o. Something like over 1000? Yikes. That probably OHKOs Cormag.
Camus (S2) vs. Keneth (S4) - CK's explanation works, sure. Both 2HKO, so the faster PC wins.
Camus (S2) vs. Domingo (SF1) - Yeah.
Camus (S2) vs. Alice (SH1) - Remember how Tengaar OHKOs Alice? Camus isn't a whole lot different, gogogogo SH MDef spread.
Camus (S2) vs. Anise (TotA) - Burn.
Camus (S2) vs. Rafa (FFT) - Sexy Suikoden 2 physicals to the rescue. Well, and OHKOing Rafa if she tries for the draining strategy. She gets outslugged with a White Robe otherwise.
Camus (S2) vs. Vincent (S2) - Heal-locks with physicals. Storm Warning hype really fails on principle (what stops Camus from answering with a L1?), but it's particularly egregious here because Vincent Magic fails so much he doesn't even -get- a L4.
Camus (S2) vs. Zegai (S5) - Uh, Zegai spoils the magic. So, the question is whether Camus can outslug with physicals or not. Probably not, but the speed difference makes this pathetic.
Camus (S2) vs. Futch (S3) - Futch is generally an inferior Camus.
Camus (S2) vs. Melody (WA3) - 2HKO damage.
Camus (S2) vs. Gogen (AtL2) - Gogen.
     
Kahn (BoF 4) vs. Gruga (AtL2) - Yeah, he just has the durability to take Kahn.
Kahn (BoF 4) vs. Cormag (FE7) - Same here.
Kahn (BoF 4) vs. Keneth (S4) - And here.
Kahn (BoF 4) vs. Domingo (SF1) - Ow.
Kahn (BoF 4) vs. Alice (SH1) - Um yeah, the physical halving makes this ugly.
Kahn (BoF 4) vs. Anise (TotA) - However, Kahn handles Anise's regen nonsense just fine.
Kahn (BoF 4) vs. Rafa (FFT) - Yup.
Kahn (BoF 4) vs. Vincent (S2) - Vincent is surprisingly awful.
Kahn (BoF 4) vs. Zegai (S5) - Zegai is tanky, but nah.
Kahn (BoF 4) vs. Futch (S3) - Isn't Futch's 2HKO hilariously slow? That... gives Kahn the time he needs.
Kahn (BoF 4) vs. Melody (WA 3) - Kahn's POIZN VULNERABILITY sorta seals this. Awesome.
Kahn (BoF 4) vs. Gogen (ATL 2) - Gogen.
     
Junpei (P3) vs. Gruga (ATL 2) - The durability makes Iori cry.
Junpei (P3) vs. Cormag (FE 7) - Junpei's anti-physical game doesn't handle many Middles. However, when he's going against Cormag MDef...
Junpei (P3) vs. Keneth (S4) - This is just horrible.
Junpei (P3) vs. Domingo (SF1) - See Keneth.
Junpei (P3) vs. Alice (SH 1) - This doesn't go a whole lot better.
Junpei (P3) vs Anise (TotA) - Both play more or less the same game, but Junpei is faster, and Anise is triggering counters. If she uses magic, she's getting outslugged with a 2x4.
Junpei (P3) vs. Rafa (FFT) - Rafa sucks.
Junpei (P3) vs. Vincent (S2) - ...
Junpei (P3) vs. Zegai (S5) - Hm.
Junpei (P3) vs. Futch (S3) - Here, Futch doesn't care about the speed lack so much.
Junpei (P3) vs. Melody (WA 3) - Poor damage and poison vulnerability? Melody -loves- that combo.
Junpei (P3) vs. Gogen (ATL 2)- ... I think Gogen hits a weakness. Hell.
     
Beecham (S3) vs. Gruga (ATL 2) - Yeah.
Beecham (S3) vs. Cormag (FE 7) - Beecham no likey FE Middle fighters.
Beecham (S3) vs. Keneth (S4) - Heal-locks with a physical. Beecham durability sucks.
