Advance (Final Fantasy 3 DS) vs. Omnislash (Final Fantasy 7): Advance is cool, but Omnislash is just so satisfying.
Saner(Phantasy Star 4) vs. Battalion Sword (Lunar: Eternal Blue ): I barely remember Battalion Sword. Needed more Triple Sword.
Bloody Howling (Tales of the Abyss) vs. Impulse (Wild Arms 2): Very easy.
Debilitate (Digital Devil Saga) vs. FAST (Final Fantasy): It's cool.
Nibelung Valesti “Level 0- Alicia Edition” (Valkyrie Profile 2) vs. Sky Present (Mana Khemia): Extremely easy.
Dancing Blade Chaos (Mana Khemia) vs. Sketch (Final Fantasy 6): Sketch is a nice idea but awful implementation.
Assault Buster (Wild Arms 4) vs. Sealed Throne (Xenosaga 2): Don't really care for AB's mechanics, and Sealed Throne is a cool "WTF?" moment.
Hammer of Raijin (Suikoden 3) vs. AERODS (Xenogears): Really impressive when you first get it vs. FAQ-bait twinking.

Galactic Punt (Persona 4) vs. Dynamite (Final Fantasy 7) - I can't argue with the PAUNT.
Demon Blast (Soul Nomad) vs. Side Kick (Star Ocean 3) - Easy. Also <3 Devourlord.
Advance (Final Fantasy 3 DS) vs. Omnislash (Final Fantasy 7) - Satisfying is a good way to describe Omnislash.
Saner(Phantasy Star 4) vs. Battalion Sword (Lunar: Eternal Blue ) - Fun PS4 hax.
Bloody Howling (Tales of the Abyss) vs. Impulse (Wild Arms 2) - Melty darkness whut?
Sodine (Thousand Arms) vs. Megid (Phantasy Star 2) - Ugh, tough match. They are about equal coolness.

Galactic Punt (Persona 4) vs. Dynamite (Final Fantasy 7) - Galactic Punt!  Chie is <3
Demon Blast (Soul Nomad) vs. Side Kick (Star Ocean 3) - Demon Blast is not one I've seen yet...need to look it up, though Side Kick is...mostly cool on concept and practice, not awesome looking.
Advance (Final Fantasy 3 DS) vs. Omnislash (Final Fantasy 7) - Omnislash.  Advance is...boring >_>
Saner(Phantasy Star 4) vs. Battalion Sword (Lunar: Eternal Blue ) - Saner...neither are that impressive, but Saner is useful and powerful.
Bloody Howling (Tales of the Abyss) vs. Impulse (Wild Arms 2) - Bloody Howling.  It just sounds so awesome and looks so awesome.  Impulse does work as a cool concept, but...the name sells me.
Sodine (Thousand Arms) vs. Megid (Phantasy Star 2) - Megid.  ANGER is awesome.
Debilitate (Digital Devil Saga) vs. FAST (Final Fantasy) - FAST.  Just like the name.

Assault Buster (Wild Arms 4) vs. Sealed Throne (Xenosaga 2) - Mmm...Assault Buster. 
Valor (Lufia 2) vs. Shadow Kill (Persona 2) - Shadow Kill is a boss skill, yeah.  Otherwise...both are really cool skills.  I love the name Valor.  Shadow Kill...yeah, the scream Nyarlathotep yells when he uses it is great, and it just fits so well.  Shadow Kill takes it, but close.

One is more effective, the other is more awesome.  And awesome >>> effective.

See above.  Though with far less awesome.

Nibelung Valesti “Level 0- Alicia Edition” (Valkyrie Profile 2) vs. Sky Present (Mana Khemia)
It keeps the NV style going strong.

Round Rip Saber (Valkyrie Profile) vs. Iainuki (Ogre Battle)
Iainuki is alright, but can't compete with a PWS.

Dancing Blade Chaos (Mana Khemia) vs. Sketch (Final Fantasy 6)
Ripping holes in reality and jumping through them to attack a foe >>> magical paintings.  For all that magical paintings are neat.

Hammer of Raijin (Suikoden 3) vs. AERODS (Xenogears)
AERODS is neat, while Hammer of Raijin never impressed that much.  It was too much into Suiko 3's too damn long attack animations.
