Test that champion! Middle 1

Dhyer's topic and list and the other tournaments that measure how good a fighter are in depth, a lot of fun to read, without a doubt paint an excellent picture about how good someone is.

They're also painful to vote on thanks to the amount of time required. My idea for this topic's much simpler- Take a random field from a random season, and take  four characters who are currently ranked in the division and see how they fare. It gives you a good cross section without tons of voting. I'm also tossing in the actual champ, to see how board opinion meshes with who won that season. Worth a try!

For Middle, I rolled:

Season 11 Middle -Lexis Shaia, Lavitz Slambert

Champion- Zalbard. Defeated Janice, Lemina, Borus, Kasumi

Lexis vs Janice- Janice is not good.
Lexis vs Lemina- Lemina needs a OHKO, she won't get it.
Lexis vs Borus- Borus needs a OHKO, he won't get it.
Lexis vs Kasumi- Stun Shocker should be enough. Kasumi's speed makes this fun though.

Lexis: 4-0. About what I expect in a fairly weak field.

Lavitz vs Janice
Lavitz vs Lemina- Should go first and 2HKO.
Lavitz vs Borus- Borus can barely damage Lavitz.  Dragoon defenses make him sad as well.
Lavitz vs Kasumi- See above.

4-0. Weird. Lavitz is not a champ level middle.

Zalbard vs Janice
Zalbard vs Lemina
Zalbard vs Borus
Zalbard vs Kasumi

4-0. This is as ugly now as it was then.

Heals. Lemina runs out of gas/is statused out, same thing for Borus.

Kasumi beats Lexis with a 2HKO on a double (see Albedo vs. Maxim in the other topic, only the speed difference is EVEN LARGER). vs. Lavitz... I dunno. Would need to look up stats there.

Borus has trouble damaging Lavitz, but the reverse is even more true (S3 defence = awesome, Lavitz' Def is only kinda awesome). And Borus is much faster, and more damaging. Don't see why he wouldn't take this.

Zalbard is hax.
