After having proved that a True Rune is better than an Origin in a straight battle, Hugo is going into his next fight his with youthful spirit on at full blast. Kornell the barely competent evildoer has had a good run so far, facing opponents that play to his style, but he’s not had to face the power of a True Rune. Of course, it won’t only be Runes that are crucial to Hugo’s win, but also his S in Repel. Since Repel also blocks ITE attacks 70% of the time, Kornell’s normally perfectly accurate attacks will have trouble landing on Hugo, giving the young Karayan plenty of extra time to unleash his potent spells or his rapid physical strikes and cut the muscle-bound brute down to size and take another shot at the finals, True Rune ready.
