Despite their different upbringings, parental situation and styles of fighting, Vahn and Kresnik actually have something in common - even if it's a subtle, far away similarity. Kresnik's ARMS ability is really just a fancy, gussied up version of Vahn's ominous Seru summoning ability, when you think of it. While Kresnik's buffs can put a damper on the damage Vahn's Ra-Seru Meta can inflict, it still won't stop it from overwhelming the Brionac flunkie with the needy sister. Vahn also has his traditional hand-to-hand combat training to fall back on - never a bad thing to have a second fighting style handy - which Kresnik also doesn't deal with all that well. If all else fails, hitting a low with taunts about not having a Mommy always works!
