Isn't Zelos's damage tanking from having no Last Fencer damage boost? Can Ho-Oh heal and outlast him?

I'm figuring cheapo First Aid covers Ho-Oh's damage well enough, and the little boost of Lightning Blades on Zelos' still a tad above average damage probably puts tons of pressure on the bird. Though... not sure if Lightning Blade's whole attack is lightning or if it's just the follow-up bolt, which could probably make a difference.

Ho-Oh vs Zelos Wilder (ToS)- I don't seem to recall ToS nulling elements.  Supposing he does, though, I respect his damage less than Beatrix's under the circumstances.
Ho-Oh vs Justin (G1)- Hm.  Looking at Dhyer's numbers, Thor Cut is higher than I kneejerked.  The damage average is considerably higher however.  Justin needs to OHKO here, and falls short due to Ho-Oh's defense.
Ho-Oh vs Cameela (SF2)- *mutter* I'm like two maps from this fight!!
Ho-Oh vs Soyna Shulen (S1)- Buffing, of course.

Zelos can drop 4 def for a Star Cap to make sure he nulls it.

Though yeah, if you use anything other than gen 2 Ho-Oh probably wins it, though do note that he halves wind if you see flying = wind.

Scias (BoF4) vs Cloud of Darkness (FF3) - She should 2HKO Scias, which just makes hell on his resources alongside the evade.
Scias vs Van Grants (TotA) - Also 2HKOs Scias and they're closish on speed to boot. Scias barely misses the 2HKO (nearly PC-level HP aside, Van has some defense), but I'm quite unsure if he can chip enough to avoid being OHKOed at some point, and Rakshasa hype just fails (Van isn't even triggering Rakshasa range with his normal damage).
Scias vs Tir McDohl (Suikos) - Rips in half.
Scias vs Malik Benedict (WA3) - Don't think Scias immunes the status.
Scias vs Beatrix (FFIX) - I guess she 2HKOs while sorta avoiding being 2HKOed back and is faster. Close match, though, and Sleep might tilt things.
Scias vs Chaz Ashley (PS4) - Boils down to who's faster. They 2HKO each other, Scias walls the ID, Chaz has enough shots of Crosscut to run Scias out of healing, is my kneejerk.
Scias vs Roufas (Saga) - Gets enough time to play the sleep/healing game, and has quite possibly deep resources alongside being faster.
Scias vs Maxim (Lufia 2) - Chips to that deadly 2HKO, really. Maxim probably doesn't 2HKO (Scias doesn't quite get 2HKOed by average physicals, I think), which gives Scias the time he needs.
Scias vs Justin (G1) - 2HKOs first. Scias damage is quite respectable.
Scias vs Cameela (SF2) - Sooooooo should OHKO.
Scias vs Sonya Shulen (S1) - Sonya's damage woes sorta make this a win for Scias. She keeps up a respectable fight, though.

Ho-Oh (PKMN) vs Cloud of Darkness (FF3) - Elemental walling. This match takes a couple years, though.
Ho-Oh vs Van Grants (TotA) - Yeah, my kneejerk was close to the truth enough. Ho-oh opens with Sunny Day, then SWIFT into Recover into his big fire damage = dead like disco Van.
Ho-Oh vs Tir McDohl (Suikos) - Deadly Fingertips.
Ho-Oh vs Malik Benedict (WA3) - Safeguard opening!
Ho-Oh vs Beatrix (FFIX) - Fiercely walls that damage.
Ho-Oh vs Chaz Ashley (PS4) - Chaz can resist Fire! This makes the match a lot closer than it ought to be, but it mostly lets him live long enough for two shots of ID, I think, and that should be enough. If it's not, it's still a good fight, but I think Chaz just has enough odds here.
Ho-Oh vs Roufas (Saga) - Outresources, I think. SaGa physical ID just fails.
Ho-Oh vs Maxim (Lufia 2) - Chipping.
Ho-Oh vs Justin (G1) - 2HKOing first. Justin also 2HKOs with Thor cut, but.
Ho-Oh vs Cameela (SF2) - I'm kneejerking Cameela's physical as fire-elemental, which gives Ho-oh a nice edge. If not, though, good match.
Ho-Oh vs Sonya Shulen (S1) - Can be argued, Sonya stats are nuts.
