Proving Grounds round 2-2 M/H- Ahoy physicals.

The first of the P4 middles falls, as Yosuke can't quite keep up with Meru and Rauny. Will Chie meet the same fate this week?

Chie Satonaka (P4) vs Alma Beoulve (FFT)0 Outlasts. Ultima ignores her evasion, which is pretty insulting.
Chie vs Ultros (FF6)- Dodge one imp song, splatter.
Chie vs Jerin (Lufia 1)- Chie's built to smash healers like this.
Chie vs Ershin (BoF4)- Ershin should have the defense to handle God Hand. If Chie dicks around and tries to uberbuff her physical, she runs into the ID.
Chie vs Lyndis (FE7)- Auto Suku means Lyn won't be evading.
Chie vs Tifa Lockheart (FF7)- Limit fighter vs Chie.
Chie vs Squall Leonheart (FF8)- See above.
Chie vs Ziggy (XS)- Puts too much pressure on Ziggy. Power charge+Taru means Ziggy has no chance to survive a God Hand.
Chie vs Delita Hyral (FFT)- Same thing as Agrias this week. Immunes Ice, goes first, will OHKO after power charge.
Chie vs Nina (BoF5)- Kneejerk Nina as faster. One God Hand shouldn't quite OHKO Nina before Power Charge, and Chie needs that.
Chie vs Alhazad (WA1)- Strong Alhazad blows kneejerk.

Alexia Lynn Elesius (XF) vs Alma Beoulve (FFT)- Alexia speed. Alma gets an instant double after Mbarrier and it goes way downhill for Alexia after that.
Alexia vs Ultros (FF6)- Status lock----smite.
Alexia vs Jerin (Lufia 1)- This is closer than it should be thanks to Jerin's damage sucking royally, but fast healing is too much for Alexia to handle.
Alexia vs Ershin (BoF4)- Status lock--smite.
Alexia vs Lyndis (FE7)- Surprisingly so. Avoids counters, 2HKOs and hits easily enough, isn't one rounded by Lyn.
Alexia vs Tifa Lockheart (FF7)- Chipping past FF7 limits, not hard, etc
Alexia vs Squall Leonheart (FF8)- Blasts past a limit easily enough.
Alexia vs Ziggy (XS)- Want to say Ziggy can buff his way out of trouble here. He has good damage if he can get going.
Alexia vs Delita Hyral (FFT)- Alexia just misses a 2HKO.
Alexia vs Nina (BoF5)- Status lock. Nina may have the damage to handle this but kneejerking that she doesn't for now.
Alexia vs Alhazad (WA1)- Alhazad.

Flay Gunnar (MK) vs Alma Beoulve (FFT)- Abstain for now.
Flay vs Ultros (FF6)- Imp.
Flay vs Jerin (Lufia 1)- Flay's in his element against healers.
Flay vs Ershin (BoF4)- ID.
Flay vs Lyndis (FE7)- Doubles and evade screw up Flay's offense.
Flay vs Tifa Lockheart (FF7)- Can avoid limits in his sleep.
Flay vs Squall Leonheart (FF8)- It's Squall.
Flay vs Ziggy (XS)- Too much pressure.
Flay vs Delita Hyral (FFT)- Faster. Bad news there for Delita.

Chie Satonaka (P4) vs Alma Beoulve (FFT): I kneejerk that the fully set up God Hand does OHKO because I don't let Alma change her equips to get good HP, but I'd like to see an "Alma exactly as she comes in game" entry in the stat topic(with ultima of course.) EDIT: Feather mantle. So much for that.
Chie vs Ultros (FF6)
Chie vs Ershin (BoF4)
Chie vs Lyndis (FE7): Equipping the Auto-Sukukaja armor causes Chie to take about 1.5x damage from any physical that does hit her, and Lyn really doesn't miss. Factor in some respect for FE crits and Chie's getting OHKOed if she goes that route.
Chie vs Tifa Lockheart (FF7)
Chie vs Squall Leonheart (FF8): Both 2HKO and Squall ignores evade and gets his 2nd turn before Chie does. Chie gets a second turn because of auto endure, but what's she going to do with it? Look at Squall angrily?
Chie vs Ziggy (XS)
Chie vs Delita Hyral (FFT): P4 ultimate tech accuracy kinda sucks. That first god hand is bouncing off of Delita's shield unless she goes for auto-sukukaja, in which case one delita attack + GH's recoil is fatal.
Chie vs Nina (BoF5)
Chie vs Alhazad (WA1): Chie doesn't sacrifice any magical durability for evade, so... she buys 3 turns with that setup and the fully pimped out god hand probably kills.

Flay Gunnar (MK) vs Alma Beoulve (FFT): Raiden charges, busts Alma's defense, lays down a timed card, then unleashes his big damage. I'm thinking this overwhelms her. Raiden charge is fast and Alma wastes a turn on MBarrier (if she doesn't Flay can skip the timed card), so Flay should get those 4 turns.

Chie Satonaka (P4) vs Alma Beoulve (FFT) - Super neatly sums this up for me.
Chie vs Ultros (FF6) - P4 evade doesn't hit status spells. Not that I vote by Opera House Ultros - Lete River Ulty just OHKOs with ITE damage.
Chie vs Jerin (Lufia 1) - Think the Confusion resistance just tips this decisively. Jerin wishes Chie's Persona didn't upgrade.
Chie vs Ershin (BoF4) - Ershin is monstrous against physicals and ID is turn two. Chie ain't handling things with barely PC HP damage.
Chie vs Lyndis (FE7) - Miori Shirt is just too insane, and Lyndis will miss non-negligibly with it (25% of the time or so, which says something about her accuracy). It mostly mitigates Chie's issues hitting as well, and she only needs a PC for God Hand to OHKO - not to mention High Counter pumps those odds of Lyn wasting a hit a bit further. Since she 3HKOs Chie (two-turns, don't get me wrong) and gets OHKOed... yeah.
Chie vs Tifa Lockheart (FF7) - Pure limit fighter against Chie.
Chie vs Squall Leonheart (FF8) - Chie doesn't even care about triggering one limit: Endure means that Squall 3HKOs, and Endure > multi-hit in-game. She certainly finishes off the job with PC GH+physical, and I don't give Squall enough speed credit to lap her. EDIT: Not to mention that, if her Confuse is even turn two, Squall is downright screwed.
Chie vs Ziggy (XS) - Menial. Ziggy is completely evadable.
Chie vs Delita Hyral (FFT) - Same as Agrias, I think. Delita shouldn't 2HKO with a Rune Blade, and he's not fast.
Chie vs Alhazad (WA1) - Sleep is pretty tough on Chie, unless she could resist it.

Flay Gunnar (MK) vs Alma Beoulve (FFT) - I like Monkey's analysis, although this is closer to me.
Flay vs Ultros (FF6) - 2HKOs, isn't OHKOed.
Flay vs Jerin (Lufia 1) - Immunes Confuse and adds tons of pressure.
Flay vs Ershin (BoF4) - ID.
Flay vs Lyndis (FE7) - Although the evade is nasty against him... I dunno. He's pretty awesome against physicals and Lyn can't avoid a Last Stand turn.
Flay vs Tifa Lockheart (FF7) - Flay chips like a champ.
Flay vs Squall Leonheart (FF8) - See above.
Flay vs Ziggy (XS) - Ziggy in Heavy.
Flay vs Delita Hyral (FFT) - I guess. Don't feel Delita is really great. *RUNS FROM RABID FARMGIRLS.*
Flay vs Alhazad (WA1) - Might be faster. Slow Down isn't nice, but blocking Sleep and Alhazad's vague inability to chip doom him.

Chie vs Lyndis (FE7) - Miori Shirt buys enough time.
Chie vs Tifa Lockheart (FF7)
Chie vs Squall Leonheart (FF8)
Chie vs Ziggy (XS) - Royal Guard makes it a long fight, but High Counter if nothing else. XS1, of course, is squished.

Chie vs Ultros (FF6) - Don't see Imp Song needing to go through evade. This is bad news.
Chie vs Lyndis (FE7) - Chie's base AGL certainly keeps God Hand's accuracy from being in the crapper. But I certainly don't respect the Miori Shirt as much as others here. So...whatever.
Chie vs Tifa Lockheart (FF7) - Limit fighter against Power Charge. Uh...
Chie vs Squall Leonheart (FF8) - WORSE LIMIT FIGHTER AGAINST POWER CHARGE lol what
Chie vs Ziggy (XS) - Overwhelms him easily enough.
Chie vs Delita Hyral (FFT) - Auto-Suku probably offsets Shield Evasion. This means Delita is outsped and getting PC'd God Hand'd by turn 2. Ouch.
Chie vs Alhazad (WA1) - ACF Alhazad makes this close. He's getting outsped, but Chie won't hit him until after her 3 turns are over. Which means by then one or two Symphonies have taken place. And I don't think one PC'd God Hand is enough here.

Alexia Lynn Elesius (XF) vs Alma Beoulve (FFT) - After M.Barrier, Alexia is getting horribly lapped. Yeah
Alexia vs Ultros (FF6) - Pretty sure she has to go turn 1 status lock to avoid Imp Song. But pretty sure she doesn't OHKO, which she has to.
Alexia vs Lyndis (FE7) - See Super. Alexia almost gets CTB double'd to boot, but 2HKOs with Revolver Sweep and GT avoids counters before that happens. Weird.
Alexia vs Tifa Lockheart (FF7) - Physical and Revolver sweep do different amount of damage. That's enough to chip past a limit I think.
Alexia vs Squall Leonheart (FF8) - At worst, downgrades a weapon to do 33% of Squall's MHP.
Alexia vs Ziggy (XS) - Comparatively, speed wise their similar (with Ziggy being faster). Ziggy also wins durability by a long shot here and while he can't hit Alexia weakness, nothing in her skill set can stop him.
Alexia vs Delita Hyral (FFT) - Yeah, thinking Delita is too tanky for her to rush through. Ice Brand weakness doesn't help
Alexia vs Alhazad (WA1) - Gets one turn to hit ACF Alhazad before any bugs are up! Doesn't OHKO then dies to Symphony before getting a second shot

Flay Gunnar (MK) vs Alma Beoulve (FFT) - Monkey covers it pretty well.
Flay vs Ultros (FF6) - Imp song at worst
Flay vs Lyndis (FE7) - Mm...Lyn doubling might be enough. Although Flay's likely to try and place a bunch of time cards and force hits through is my gut. Do enough of those hit her? Not sure.
Flay vs Tifa Lockheart (FF7) - MANA KHEMIA PHYSICALS + Buster Star/Raiden Charge works around this.
Flay vs Squall Leonheart (FF8) - MORE MK PHYSICAL HYPE. Squall is hilariously bad as a Heavy
Flay vs Ziggy (XS) - I...think. Ziggy's tankier, but that's probably not enough.
Flay vs Delita Hyral (FFT) - 2HKO's first
Flay vs Alhazad (WA1) - Gut. Buster Star doesn't focus, so ACF Alhazad's bugs will end up soaking some of the damage away from him. Raiden Charge is solid, but he's going to be eating at least 2-3 Symphonies. Possibly more since to KO the bugs, he might have to use actual skills. Gooooooooooooo MK physicals.

Having Squall and Tifa in this pool makes it so such that anybody that's trying to reach Heavy should at least have 2 wins >_>
