Yulie Ahtreide (vs Jean)
« on: August 28, 2009, 05:36:00 PM »
After much trials and tribulations, Yulie has followed in the steps of her brother and reached Heavy. While greater challenges await the young Paladienne, her conviction will let her face them with bravery and strength. But first, a warm-up. While Jean has a spectacular array of tricks from her training as a ninja and a dancer, Yulie has faced more difficult foes in Middle. If the gypsy tries to go for status, her attempts to paralyze Yulie will simply fail in the face of her staggering MDef. Going the martial arts route won't do Jean much good either. Not only will her expensive techniques eventually lead to her running out of MP long before the young healer, but she also needs to waste one turn every so often to cast Slam Dance so that she could be threatening to Yulie. This gives Yulie the ample time to cast her sickening buffs, may it be a Quicken that will make the Filgaian a lot faster than even the speedy Jean, or a Protect that will make her even harder to kill. Maybe being a Heavy isn't so hard after all.

After many trials and tribulations, Yulie has followed in the steps of her brother and reached Heavy. While greater challenges await the young Paladienne, her conviction will let her face them bravely! But first, a warm-up. While Jean has quite an array of tricks from her training as a ninja and a dancer, Yulie can handle them all. If the gypsy tries to go for status, her attempts to paralyze Yulie will simply fail in the face of her staggering magical resilience. Going bruiser won't do Jean much good either. Not only will her expensive techniques eventually lead to her running out of resources long before Yulie, but she also needs to waste one turn every so often to cast Slam Dance to make her offense stick. This gives Yulie ample time to cast her sickening buffs, be it a Quicken that will make the Filgaian a lot faster than even Jean, or a Protect that will make her even harder to kill. Maybe being a Heavy isn't so difficult after all.
