Landis (vs. Selphie)
« on: September 11, 2009, 09:32:16 AM »
After defeating another adept flyer, beating up a true pedestrian should be a walk in the park. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that Landis’ opponent this time is an unjunctioned FF 8 PC, and one with a non-fatal limit at that. Of course, the winger’s S rank in Freeze will likely mean that even if Selphie finds herself in the limit range, she’ll probably be stunned or fatally paralyzed anyways. And if she still gets a limit? Fatal paralysis and Selphie’s lackluster damage mean that healing won’t get her far; Landis’ S in Magic Resistance will mean that any magical limit’s Selphie attempts to cast will come up short, especially when paired with his healing critical. Selphie may as well just swallow some of that sugar she loves so much and call it a day because the only End she’ll be seeing here is her own.
...into the nightfall.

After defeating another adept flyer, beating up a honest-to-goodness pedestrian should be a (no pun intended) walk in the park. It also doesn’t hurt that Landis’ opponent this time is an unjunctioned FF 8 PC, and one with a non-fatal limit at that. Of course, the winger’s S rank in Freeze will likely mean that even if Selphie finds herself in the limit range, she’ll probably be stunned or fatally paralyzed anyways.
