The power of the Brood is insurmountable, no questions asked - as the manic clown Kefka, who was left shattered in the wake of Ryu's unstoppable power, unpleasantly found out. This time, it's a God who seeks to challenge the power of dragonkind, but this is nothing but a fancy name for "victim". Ryu's slaughtered far scarier deities in his time, and this will be no different. Loki may be a trickster god - as he so says - but he won't fool anyone into thinking he's faster than Ryu. Loki can unleash the power of the Dragon Orb, he can unseal the limitless potential of Indiscrimate, he can poison Ryu's very flesh with Carnage Anthem. But nothing Loki has will do much more than annoy Ryu, and an annoyed Kaiser dragon is -not- what any creature wants to be facing in a battle.
