The Chosen of Sylvarant isn't an easy job - demons, rogue angels, and crazed elves are always trying to capture you, erase your memory, or kill you.  Through the trials and tribulations Colette's experience, she's proven she's not some little weak waif that can't hold her own in a battle.  And, in particular, she's a bit more independent than Dominia - after all, when your entire character worth is devotion to -TRASH-, you've really failed it up in life.  So, since Colette's won the personality contest, is there really anything left to talk about?  Oh, right, fighting.  Well, as the Chosen, it's not Colette is lacking in the fighting department.  It's pretty telling when the young adult is much tougher and less frailer than the trained warrior - Colette's chakram attacks are surprisingly potent, and can even be imbued with the power of lightning, a shocking surprise for the more grounded warrioress.  While Colette doesn't take hits as well as she'd like, this can be rectified easily with Angel Song, greatly boosting her strength and resilience.  Of course, the resilience part isn't exactly necessary - Dominia, for all the hype, is kind of weak.  Her sword attacks are weaker than the punches of her sister Elements, for Deus' sake!  Seriously, pretty pathetic - something the saviour of Sylvarant can easily weather.  And let's not get started on Dominia's frailty - while tougher than her compatriots, she'll still fall to a few of Colette's high-powered strikes, not to even mention a single casting of the terrifying Judgment.  While Dominia does have the advantage in speed, she can't capitalize on it, and thus, is doomed to fail.  Kind of like her devoted, really - poetic in a sense.  After this, Colette's got a good ride to the finals - victory and recognition, something she truly deserves.  Assuming she doesn't trip and impale herself by accident, at least.  But hey, that's why Namco invented Life Bottles.

Being Chosen of Sylvarant isn't an easy job, and Colette's proven she's not some little weak waif that can't hold her own in a battle.  Her chakram attacks are surprisingly potent, and can even be imbued with the power of lightning, a nasty surprise for the earth-aligned Dominia. Meanwhile, Angel Song will greatly boost her strength and resilience.  Of course, the resilience part isn't exactly necessary - Dominia, for all the hype, is kind of weak. And let's not get started on Dominia's frailty - while tougher than her compatriots, she'll still fall to a few of Colette's high-powered strikes, not to mention a single casting of Judgment.  While Dominia does have the advantage in speed, she can't capitalize on it, and thus, is doomed to fail.
