Lyon may have just won herself a Middle championship, but if one rule holds true in the world of Suikoden, it’s that nothing can stand up to a True Rune; not even Lyon’s Twilight Rune. If the former assassin held the Sun Rune itself, it might be a different story, but given the reality of the match at hand, Sasarai’s True Earth Rune should be more than enough to take Lyon out. Land of Eternity should make mincemeat of Lyon, especially since the Prince’s bodyguard has both subpar HP and MDef. Sure, Sasarai isn’t a durability god, but he sports similar HP, good Mdef and Magic Resistance, and thanks to Magic Repel half of Lyon’s spells won’t even hit, ensuring that he’ll have the opportunity to bury her.
