Lyon (vs Sasarai)
« on: November 21, 2009, 04:23:54 AM »
Loyal bodyguard and wielder of the Twilight Rune Lyon may have missed her first shot at a Godlike upgrade, but that just means she has to carve up another Heavy season, doesn't it.  In a strange twist of fate, her opponent is a leading Priest of fabled Harmonia, Sasarai.  Wielding the True Earth Rune, logically Lyon's lesser Rune has been utterly trumped.  However, the stagnated, unchanging nature of Harmonia has an ill effect on its people, leaving them complacent and poorly trained.  As such, Sasarai's command of his Rune is lazy at best, and his body as frail as any other mage of their shared world.  Thus, using her superior training, determination, and most importantly wits, Lyon has an excellent chance to catch the priest unprepared and, whether by blade or spell, cut Sasarai down before he has a chance to mount a defense.  A dangerous game, but Lyon is well acquainted with danger.
