Belial (WA4) vs. Myria (BoFs) - Mmm. Close. Myria's global scale terraforming is more impressive, however, given it drains a tremendous amount of Belial's energy to create and maintain Wunderweltraum, which isn't large by any means.

Heavy

Serge (CC) vs. Rose (LoD) - This, however, is not close.

Middle

Luna (Lunar1) vs. Belselk (WA) - Also not close.

Light

Hrist (VP1) vs. Jin Uzuki (XS2) - One close match and three blowouts...pretty typical!

Belial (WA4) vs. Myria (BoFs)-Belial's damn scary, but even she just isn't in Myria's league here.

Heavy

Serge (CC) vs. Rose (LoD)-I think Assassin of Time actually sounds kinda cool, though it would be better put to use elsewhere, I'll agree. Serge...makes Rose work for it, but in the end she'll overcome. Dragoons are just that nasty, and she's the nastiest of them.

Middle

Luna (Lunar1) vs. Belselk (WA)-Yeah, I'm not feeling the "Luna has all the powers of Althena" thing. Maybe a fraction of it, but I'll give the nod to Berserk here anyway. Loads of respect for him.

Light

Hrist (VP1) vs. Jin Uzuki (XS2)-Goddess > Skilled Mortal. Even one so highly skilled as Jin will fall to the Battle Maiden. On the bright side, he'll almost certainly get plucked up as an Einherjar afterwards~

Belial (WA4) vs. Myria (BoFs): The scale of Belial's powers aren't nearly to the extent of Myria's (Myria's powers can effect the ENTIRE WORLD), let alone if Belial tries a little "Hide from Myria in her own dimension!" strategy, Myria has all the time to wait out Belial anyway.

Heavy

Serge (CC) vs. Rose (LoD): Yeah, I'm going with "Defined Powers > Completely fucked up Chrono Cross powers that aren't completely defined" reasoning for now.

Middle

Luna (Lunar1) vs. Belselk (WA): Luna has Althena's power...the problem?  I'm not convinced she ever fully awakened them, or has the ability to fully control them (POTENTIAL to, yes, but that doesn't mean she ever reaches that.)  Meanwhile, Berserk is still the strongest of the Quarter Knights and not someone to be taken lightly at all.

Light

Hrist (VP1) vs. Jin Uzuki (XS2): Uhh...I'd need to go back and see Jin's little Mech Slicing incident again and see exactly under what circumstances.

Ack, totally missed last week.  Well, Rose would beat Kanon, too, so no big deal.

Belial (WA4) vs. Myria (BoFs) - Tough.  Weakly going with the goddess here in that she might be able to get around any "trap in a pocket dimension" tricks; you do fight her in an obligatory starry field which implies a weird pocket dimension anyway.

Heavy

Serge (CC) vs. Rose (LoD) - WTF Serge in Heavy finals.

Middle

Luna (Lunar1) vs. Belselk (WA) - Belselk's pretty strong, and Luna's powers tend to be a bit subtler than the raw boomy power she needs against him.

Light

Hrist (VP1) vs. Jin Uzuki (XS2) - VP1 Hrist I give roughly the same amount as credit as a level 1 Einjergar, which is still better than most people in Asgard...  but Jin is not most people, and furthermore Jin is in a more highly powered future where he's learned amazing secret sword techniques with Margulis, etc.  Considering that the game gives equal credit to his attacks as to the monstrously strong KOS-MOS and Ziggy, I'd say he can take Hrist.

Last week! Should be fun! Should I run another one after this is finished?

I had an idea for a Plot Power tourney, but I'm definitely in favor of not re-running seasons, but rather selecting some characters based off a general "You're a Plot Light" type ranking and then hatbotting matches.  Should hopefully be less blowouts that way.

Belial (WA4) vs. Myria (BoFs)- Tentative Belial vote. Myria had a wider effect, but she also had...well, so much more time to even get to that point. In terms of how quickly and effective their powers were, Belial impressed me notably more.

Luna (Lunar1) vs. Belselk (WA)- Luna. Seemed pretty ubered to me come the end of the game.

Light

Hrist (VP1) vs. Jin Uzuki (XS2)- Hrist. Somewhat of a gut check.
