Evadable melee physicals against an FE swordmaster is not a wise idea. Cid may kick ass and take names, but that does him no good when he gets shredded in close quarters combat by Guy. The Sacae plainsman is as deadly as anyone in Middle at fighting up close. High speed means he'll be doubling the foul mouthed captain of the Highwind, and evasion means Cid is going to have difficulty making any damage stick. No amount of colorful terminology is going to make Cid's damage more threatening, and nothing is going to slow down the swordmaster's second march through middle.

No amount of colorful terminology is going to make Cid's damage more threatening, and nothing is going to slow down the honorable Swordmaster's second march through Middle's open fields.
