Epilogue (FFT) vs. "On Tietra's Soul, I swear it to you." (FFT:WotL): Classic moment. Shocking and effective end to a dramatic game as it was.

Mercedes' Final Scene (Odin Sphere) vs. Roy's death scene (Suikoden 5): I'm not as crazilly enamoured with it as some but it's still pretty darn effective. I assume Mercedes needs context or something, it's too overdramatic as is.
Epilogue (FFT) vs. "On Tietra's Soul, I swear it to you." (FFT:WotL): Latter isn't even top 5 for Delita scenes to me! Epilogue isn't #1 or anything, but it's very impactful. Everyone remembers it. Delita's methods really come full circle here.

STYLE:
Yunalesca's Rant about Hope (FF10)  vs. World Destroyer Orsted (Live-a-Live): Yeah I dunno LaL's big plot twist never really impressed me, helps that I didn't hear of it until after playing things like S3. The scene itself is weak out of context.
Astaroth Possesses Saki (SHC)  vs. Opera (FF6): I dunno. Neither overly impresses me.  Might vote for opera because Ultros jamming it up is pretty classic. IT WILL TAKE APPROXIMATELY FIVE MINUTES TO DROP THIS!

The MAN FESTIVAL (SH2) vs. Et pulls Enna from her sack (Mana Khemia 2): I like a fair bit of SH2 humour, and the Man Festival isn't terrible, but it didn't really do too much for me either. On the other hand, MK2 in general is practically on its own tier for humour.

Granted I don't think I'd seen said last 2 minutes of either before, so I guess someone who assembled Monty Python movies figured this out. Anyway argument clinic is even more deliciously silly than the dead parrot, which says something.

Mercedes' Final Scene (Odin Sphere) vs. Roy's death scene (Suikoden 5) - Odinsphere has a lot of cool scenes. Mercedes wasn't really the best of it. Roy's scene is one of the more memorable parts of the game for me, even including the Ferid/Arshtat scenes.
Epilogue (FFT) vs. "On Tietra's Soul, I swear it to you." (FFT:WotL) - The only part of FFT I liked.

Astaroth Possesses Saki (SHC)  vs. Opera (FF6)- I guess I feel like... the SH2 scene is PRETTY but nothing happens during it, so it doesn't make a huge impact.  Opera, much like above, is mostly DIFFERENT so it can move on.

Epilogue (FFT) vs. "On Tietra's Soul, I swear it to you." (FFT:WotL): Setting aside the technical improvements, the Epilogue never really felt... complete or particularly well done? Conceptually, its cool, but it needs scenes like the winner here to have bounced off. Really could have been composed in a bit of a stronger manner.
