Touhou Seirensen ~ Undefined Fantastic Object - Emotional Skyscraper ~ Cosmic Mind VS. Chrono Cross - Frozen Flame - Touhou track is Touhou track, albeit a kinda average one. Frozen Flame is pretty damn dull, though.
Front Mission 4 - Pride and Honor VS. Advance Wars: Days of Ruin - Will’s Theme - Pride drags on a little too long for my liking in an otherwise close match.
Final Fantasy XII - Salikawood VS. Heroes of Mana - The Way This Heart Is - Salikawood strikes me as an odd choice, but it works. The other track is kinda like the worst stuff from KH, in that it's not memorable at all and has this vaguely annoying synth track running in the back of it the whole time.
Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth - Pursuit ~ Lying Coldly VS. Suikoden Tierkreis - Sally Beacon~ - Aww man, this is a close match. (Apparently I missed this pool last time. hunh. shame.) Lying Coldly keeps the momentum going throughout, whereas Sally Beacon kinda trails off at points, so sure, that can decide it. Tough choice.
Tales of Legendia - The Legendary Sorceror VS. Etrian Odyssey II - Labyrinth IV ~ Cherry Tree Bridge - Easiest choice so far. Cherry Tree Bridge takes a while to get going, but once it does, it's by far better than anything Sorceror has to offer. (And before it gets going, it's at about the same level!)
Wild ARMs Alter Code: F - G’s Roar VS. Labyrinth of Touhou - Ikusa Japan - Ouch. This half is so much easier to decide so far.
Final Fantasy X-2 - Eternity ~Memory of Lightwaves~ VS. Bayonetta - Let’s Dance, Boys! - Sounds like this belongs in X-2 as well. Anyways, I generally prefer upbeat to slow tracks, especially when the slow track isn't emotive in the slightest. Neither of these tracks are particularly good, though, if you ask me.
Melty Blood Act Cadenza - The End of 1000 Years VS. Blazblue - Motor Head (Iron Tager) - ...wow. Okay, this match makes up for the easy ones. Both of these are amazing tracks, but... I think I'm gonna have to go with Motor Head here. Honestly, I can't explain why I like it more, I just do.
ANIME
Gundam SEED - Akatsuki no Kuruma VS. Lagann-hen - Seed of Tears, Flower of Smiles - hm. Good match. Gonna have to decide it based on Kuruma's slow start, which is nowhere near as good as the rest of the match.
Seikon no Qwaser - Passionate squall VS. Mazinger Z - Mazin Go - See Lance.
ARRANGED
Ninja Gaiden - OCRemix - Basilisk Run VS. Hanakisou - Navigatoria - Hanakisou - Both are decent enough tunes, so it comes down to lyrics vs. not lyrics.
Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow - Ruined Castle Corridor - Arranged version VS. Lionel Pinteau - Nostalgic Melodies - Man. I definitely missed the last round. I'd've remembered that one. Both are good, but Nostalgia is superior by a fair bit.
