Yes. Football is cool, my favorite holidays are around the corner, and the weather cools off. I love summer, but four plus months of 90+ degree heat is more than enough for me.

I have no substantial debt currently. I will if I go to a four year university, which I am thinking about fairly seriously. If I do go into debt, eh. If I am going to a four year college, it'll be for a good paying job.

Am I voting in the elections where my vote matters way more than usual?  Duh.  Anyway, I'm certainly voting for Martin Heinrich to get a second term.  Fail though the current congress may be, from the e-mails I've received his views seem pretty in line with mine (supported the public option, was absolutely furious about the 9/11 first responders debacle, etc) and after some brief research I can't imagine Joe Barela will be a better representative.

It's funny.  I consider myself an independent, center-left if you will, but when I actually do my research I always end up choosing Dems.  Not enough Arnold Schwarzeneggers and Gary Johnsons.  Also, the right's completely flipped it's shit.  There's also that.

My debit card would be a nice start.

Student loans are a looming spectre but I should be out of them within 10 years max.  I probably won't have very much in savings until then, just enough to get me out of the country should I not get into JET and thus need some startup.

Sleep in, play some vijiagames, have some drinks with some friends or family.  Insert porn or failed attempts at flirtation as necessary.

Metroid: Other M.  Beat Normal mode, slogging through Hard mode now.

My bank account's dropping and I'd really like a raise, but I'm 12 months from being debt-free and my rent just dropped by a ton, so it's only a short-term issue.

Edit: Oh right other people actually have stable schedules and don't read the question like that. Laze around at home, cook French toast for breakfast and maybe some steaks for dinner, with movies/video games in the middle.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and....define "finished". I beat SSE and I've got six All-Star trophies.

So very much. Beautiful crisp weather, aesthetically pleasing foliage, sweaters, and a somewhat unintuitive feeling that new things are starting and better times are on the horizon. The latter because an academic schedule is still so burned in to my brain.

I'll be voting, though I need to get my ass in gear and actually figure out how. I've been terribly out of touch, recently.

I've moved around so much in the past year, and am moving once again in two weeks, that I have no idea.

I'll be going home; getting out of New York is a necessity, this year.

I imagine that I'll still be in Brooklyn, and probably working at the same restaurant. This may change if I decide to pursue some graduate acting training and go off next Fall to get my MFA.

I'm doing all right. Bank account could be higher, but my student loans are comparatively small and it's no trouble making the monthly payments. That said, if I do go off for that MFA... well, apparently Yale has amazing financial aid. So... fingers crossed for Yale, I suppose.

Brunch, time spent with friends in Prospect Park, dinner and drinks, maybe a movie or a play to cap it all off. That sounds nice.

Alpha Protocol. I beat it twice, actually.

Last year I slapped together a costume at the last minute and went as Harry Crane, from Mad Men. My roommate was Roger Sterling.

Probably the long-weekend trip up home to Maine, spent on a cabin by a lake with some of my best friends and now-ex-girlfriend. A bit bittersweet now, obviously, but at the time it was pretty excellent.

I would love to get the hell out of my current area, but it's not very likely to actually happen.  Don't see myself sticking with my current job unless I see some sort of raise within the next few months.

Generally not concerned, though I am foreseeing a somewhat large car inspection bill come December, since the care is due for new tires and windshield wipers, along with a sneaking suspicion that the engine is starting to go.

I've come to realize that I live in a burgeoning slumming suburb of Atlanta. Last pitiful attempt I saw at trick or treating were parents driving their kids around in cars. Granted, this isn't a pedestrian safe neighborhood anyway.

I was going to celebrate Thanksgiving in projecting to the NEW JERSEY DEVIL/THRASHER GAME coming in December, but I'm attending the March 2011 as it's a more financially sound choice.

Planning. But also planning against it, but will not be disgruntled if it happens as long as I can support myself.

I'm always concerned about my budget. I'm capricious. I don't believe it'll be a long term problem, but let's factor in the year or so of paying off my Egypt budget and hoping to get more loans (not rly) for a grad school that actually wants me. The more logical result is that I pay off my Egypt budget, and no school wants me, and I have disposable cash. But if a grad school wants me, fuck that shit bitches, I'm going back to school.

Organizing goals, my life, upcoming deadlines, polishing up things, cleaning my room and maybe watching something on TV.

Somewhat concerned.  I live very frugally but am also not bringing in much cash and constantly paranoid about emergencies happening and draining what I've got.  Plus about 10k student loan debt.  It won't be a long term problem if I can get a decent job but that requires squaring away health issues first.

A balance between solitude and friends around, lack of stress and some fun games to play and things to read/watch/listen to.

Ojousama no Dokidoki Daisakusen.  Fun lil metroidvania type deal.  Finished both modes.

Either will be doing one or both dinners with grandparents, depending on if the invites come.  One of those is home though, so.

Hm.  Yeah, probably won't be moving in the next year.  Look at new job opportunities as they come, but can't say with any certainty I'll ultimately get them (which is okay, if none come along in a timely matter I wouldn't mind getting a Culinary degree and the current job gives me plenty of time for that, which I can't guarantee in a new job)

8. How concerned are you about your budget/debt? Is it going to be a long term problem?

Somewhat concerned.  While I have no trouble keeping up, I have struggled to get ahead this year which bothers me some.  This state of affairs will persist as long as I'm at this job (because it's clear they have no intention of paying me what I'm worth), so it's temporariness is up to me more than circumstance.

9. What is your ideal day off?

Depends on my mood.  Some days I like to head out, have decent dinners, buy things, others I'm content to say home, eat cheap and play video games, others still I like a little ambition and cooking something new while watching TV.

10. What is the last new game you played? Did you finish it?

Well... I picked up three late august/september releases.  Birth by Sleep I beat, Atelier Rorona I just started, and Valkyria Chronicles II is sitting on the stack immediately below VC1.  Before THAT though there really wasn't much through the summer I cared about, I think just Disgaea Infinite, and before that the last 2010 game I'd played was Heart Gold.  So yeah, much slower releases than '09.

Last year.  And... well, I intend to recycle the costume this year, so expect pictures.  It's lazy but fun.

Fall is over -there-. >_> That said, I'm very fond of fall. The weather begins to cool and the mild desert weather we live with in this region begins to subdue into an elegant, dry coolness. The only low point is the lack of greenery.

During the Fall, my students read the story of Freddie the Leaf. Freddie is a happy leaf who watches all of his friends turn funny colors and die when Fall comes. He is the last leaf to fall. Yet another life lesson about the inevitability of death is taught through talking foliage to the impressionable students of Japan. I think it's the Japanese version of the Planeteers.

New laptop. Complete with a drawing tablet so that I get with the times and stop drawing with a mouse.

Definitely the Dragon Festival. It was one of the few times in Japan where I didn't feel out of place. Sure, I still stood out, but the atmosphere of the festival made it feel like -I- was where I was supposed to be, and all the little Japanese people around me were the ones out of their element. So... less 'Bull in a China shop' and more like 'China salesmen in my Bullpen'? It was really fun and I was awfully drunk~

Could be a lot of things.  In the spirit of the season I'll say a nice hike in the woods since the leaves are changing.  Alternately, if the weather is cold, a trip to the city in the morning to hit up the Union square farmers' market, buy apples, aged cheddar and the like, and have a hot cup of mulled cider.

NSMB Wii, and I'm not done with world 9 yet.
