Adachi's Fear+Ghastly Wail combo indeed bypasses ID immunity. The problem is that it's -turn five- counting the ID and he at best loses initiative against average speed. Adachi HP sez he doesn't avoid a lot of 4HKOs from people who 2HKO at base with physicals, and casting Heat Riser doesn't help much when it's not a huge damage reduction (only 29%~ at the expense of a turn, only lasts three, isn't recastable and he still gets smacked once before casting it).

Yeah. It's even a neat status in a vacuum (fun for healers and all, also effectively halves the foe's offense), but jesus christ turn four accuracy.
