Ok, it's about time to get this rolling! You all know the drill: you got one week (or so) to decide which video you like better. Neither is a great song, but * has some energy to it. And there's worlds of distance between them visually.
Ghost Hound OP (Poltergeist) vs. Durarara!! OP1 (Uragiri no Yūyake)
Ghost Hound's got the better music but I really like the look of the Durarara!! OP, and the song ain't bad.
Code Geass OP 1 (COLORS) vs. Sailor Moon OP1 (Moonlight Densetsu)
Moonlight Densetsu isn't perfect, but it's got a distinctive melody and art style if nothing else. COLORS has nothing whatsoever going for it.

Gundam 08th MS Team OP (Shine in the Storm) vs. Tenjou Tenge OP (Bomb a Head)
I love the start of Bomb A Head where the characters jump out of their manga panels, but not much after that. Is that enough for a vote? Sure.

Overman King Gainer OP vs. Slayers Try OP- All else being equal, I'm going to favor a female singer over a male singer.
FMP Fumoffu OP vs. Bleach OP1- I really like how non-indicative Fumoffu's OP is.
Ghost Hound vs. Durarara!! OP1- I half expected them to break into the chorus from Born to be Wild.
Code Geass OP 1 vs. Sailor Moon OP1- Zero the calories twice the flavor~ Edit: yes, both versions of this song beat Colors.

08th MS Team OP vs. Tenjou Tenge OP- You don't have to try very hard to beat the music Tenge is using.
Lodoss OP vs. Area 88 OP- The Area 88 track is pretty solid, but Lodoss War is holy crap.
Lain OP vs. Read or Die OP- The James Bond thing RoD's got is pretty cool, but Lain's got a lot more emotion.

Overman King Gainer OP vs. Slayers Try OP
....what. Just what for King Gainer. Pair figure skating in space? Cthulu Tentacles on your space suit? That opening is on a lot of crack, and I actually kind of like it, but I'll go with an opening I just plain like rather than one that's so weird it's likable anyway. (Also notably better song in Slayers Try.)
FMP Fumoffu OP vs. Bleach OP1 -
Generic high school + swimsuits vs. actually pretty awesome.
Ghost Hound vs. Durarara!! OP1 -
See Shale except vote reversed. Durarara easily wins on visuals, but loses on song, and Ghost Hound's visuals aren't bad.
Code Geass OP 1 vs. Sailor Moon OP1 -
Japanese vs. Geass: SM's song is strangely subdued but works. Geass's opening is okay (and way better than the second opening!) and easily wins on visuals but the song is not great. Dunno, abstain.
English version: Like some of the activeness, but the singer is not good, so congrats Geass.

08th MS Team OP vs. Tenjou Tenge OP
Ummmmmmmm. Totally forgettable mech opening vs. insanity. I don't entirely approve of the insanity (little girl becomes busty swordswoman? Sigh) and the song is meh but hey I remember it.
Lodoss OP vs. Area 88 OP
PLANES. Uh. That song would actually make good boss fight music in a video game. So yeah, Area 88 is pretty good and would beat both the above, but it's going up against Kanno instead.
Lain OP vs. Read or Die OP
They're both great.
Gankutsuou OP vs. Clannad After Story OP
Both are blah, but Gankutsuou's art at least does something different than the usual saucer-eyed schoolgirls.

Endings:

Fail-off. I don't like Noir's OP or ED that much, actually. Neither has anything in the way of interesting visuals. Noir's song is slightly better than Rayearth's (but in the bottom 10% of Noir music).
EDIT: The English version actually has some energy. Still a fail-off but sure, vote changed.

Visuals meh on both. Deltora's an okay lullaby at least, but Soul Eater does have that piano in the background...

EDIT: Oh, I see. I didn't use the English version for OK's ones, which were the Sailor Moon opening, the MKR ending, and the Digimon ending. Hmm. All right, it pains me to do this (for a number of reasons) but I'm changing the links on those two songs, so everyone please revote on those two. (There's no English Digimon ending that I know of, so that one remains as is.) I'll try and track down everyone who's already voted to tell them as much.

FMP Fumoffu OP vs. Bleach OP1 - FMP's song is catchy enough but overall it's fairly average. Most OPs wish they had the amount of style Asterisk has.
Ghost Hound vs. Durarara!! OP1 - Oh ye gods... why must Poltergeist keep going up against this level of competition in the first round?
Code Geass OP 1 vs. Sailor Moon OP1 - Nostalgia vs an opening I never liked that much in the first place.

08th MS Team OP vs. Tenjou Tenge OP - I like the former, but the song seems ill-fitting. Bomb a Head is just plain fun.
Lodoss OP vs. Area 88 OP - A director learning to make dramatic cuts vs one of the best of all time.
Lain OP vs. Read or Die OP - Love both. Another one thats unfair for the first round. But have to go with Lain, as while RoD is standard length, it always feels like it drags to me for some reason.
Gankutsuou OP vs. Clannad After Story OP - I liked the last quarter of the latter, not enough to save it.

Soul Eater ED4 vs. Deltora Quest ED1 - What would be an average OP makes for a great closer in Soul Eater. I at least liked the song of the latter though.

Overman King Gainer OP vs. Slayers Try OP: Would have gone with OKG if the first 40 minutes hadn't been generally boring and uninspired.

FMP Fumoffu OP vs. Bleach OP1: Middling and mediocre versus visually engaging and unique. This is absolutely no contest.

Ghost Hound vs. Durarara!! OP1: A shame. Ghost Hound would have won versus several other things in this pool. Instead, it gets paired up against one of the best OPs in this pool in the first round.

Code Geass OP 1 vs. Sailor Moon OP1: Middling and mediocre vs something that was at least memorable.

08th MS Team OP vs. Tenjou Tenge OP: 08th MS Team suffers from being generally bland and having some degree of unpleasant dissonance in the imagery and the song. Tenjou Tenge, on the other hand, is vibrant and energetic.

Lodoss OP vs. Area 88 OP: The Lodoss War OP is probably among the most beautiful openings in the pool. Area 88 is... not.

Lain OP vs. Read or Die OP: Hatbotted.

Gankutsuou OP vs. Clannad After Story OP: Wanted so badly to vote for Gankutsuou because of the gorgeous art, but CAS had the better full package.

Endings:
Magic Knight Rayearth ED1 vs. Noir ED: Coin flip, pretty much.

Soul Eater ED4 vs. Deltora Quest ED1: Styling. A shame, DQ would have beat several other things in the pool.

Vandread ED vs. Kimi ga Nozumu Eien ED: KGNE was just generally uninspiring.

Digimon ED1 vs. Kimagure Orange Road ED2: No contest. KOR is probably champ material.

Lodoss OP vs. Area 88 OP: A88's music was decent enough, but I felt like we should've seen more of the characters in between the jet fighter porn.
Lain OP vs. Read or Die OP: My distaste for everything Lain may be coloring this, but RoD is fairly stylish at least.
Gankutsuou OP vs. Clannad After Story OP: Distinctive aesthetics alone make it a winner.

Endings:
Magic Knight Rayearth ED1 vs. Noir ED: Personal bias + too much chibi in MKR.
Soul Eater ED4 vs. Deltora Quest ED1: Some okay things done with lighting and the "cast is dead" bit is novel I guess.
Vandread ED vs. Kimi ga Nozumu Eien ED: Fanservice with shitty music vs. might-be-touching-if-I-had-context-but-I-don't with boring music, so.
Digimon ED1 vs. Kimagure Orange Road ED2: Unique visuals alone make this like swatting a fly with a sledgehammer.

Overman King Gainer OP vs. Slayers Try OP - As much as I went into this expecting to vote for the Slayers OP, and as much as I hate the design of the mech in Gainer... holy crap that was a fun opening.
FMP Fumoffu OP vs. Bleach OP1 - On the other hand, Fumoffu's OP put me to sleep.
Ghost Hound vs. Durarara!! OP1 - I like the jazzy Ghost Hound song, but the visuals are even more boring than Fumoffu's.
Code Geass OP 1 vs. Sailor Moon OP1 - Code Geass, somehow, has the worse song.

08th MS Team OP vs. Tenjou Tenge OP - MS Team is 'Yay, 90s!', but... it's not even very good 90s. Really generic. Tenjou Tenge OP is far more memorable and creative, whether you like the rap or not, it's certainly got a clear style and unique energy.
Lodoss OP vs. Area 88 OP - When your featured action is poorly-CGed planes, well... Lodoss War can beat much better than this.
Lain OP vs. Read or Die OP - Despite Lain being my nom, this is a REALLY close match. Both OPs do a great job setting up their respective show's tones, and they both have really unique visuals styles. In the end, it turns out that I actually like the high-energy character-centric OP better.
Gankutsuou OP vs. Clannad After Story OP - I actually don't really care for the Gankutsuou OP much... but the Clannad OP is terribly boring and generic.

Endings:
Magic Knight Rayearth ED1 vs. Noir ED - Wow, you know, Rayearth has some decent OP/ED stuff, but not this one...
Soul Eater ED4 vs. Deltora Quest ED1 - Not close, despite Deltora being pretty decent.
Vandread ED vs. Kimi ga Nozumu Eien ED - KgNE needs to die in a fire.
Digimon ED1 vs. Kimagure Orange Road ED2 - While I actually kinda like the Digimon ED there at the end, this particular KOR ED is pretty awesome for 80s stuff, and I really dislike KOR's style of just about everything.
