I don't care if you hate it for everything it is conceptually, you have no standing in whether a drink is good/bad until you drink that, you know it, and much as you can try to argue otherwise, you'll just make a bigger idiot of yourself for pretending to know the quality of a drink.

Hating a drink and disagreeing is one thing.  Hating a drink you never drank in the right country just because you say so is pretty much bottom tier of intelligence.


If you HAVE drank shochu in Japan, then feel free to disregard this post, though my point stands for all other drinks."

Hoegaarden is very, very good. Thank you for this suggestion. I'll try a different type of beer next week.

It's a couple bucks more, but I think it's worth it here and there. Funny shaped bottle though. Making a beer table out of everyone's bottles soon enough and this is just weird.

Yeah? Apparently tons of folk do it. I thought it was pretty creative... Landlord has glass cutters.. so i can leave the label on a lot of the bottles for legs.

Seriously, though, I've never noticed an aftertaste notably worse than beer tends to have.

Never drink Guinness then. I enjoy Smithwick's because it's Guinness WITHOUT the ass aftertaste.
