Heavy

Ceodore Harvey (Final Fantasy IV: The After Years) vs Clarissa Arwin (Wild ARMs XF): Rob Turn + double Sacrifice at worst. She may just OHKO anyway.

Middle

Tengaar (Suikoden II) vs Red XIII (Final Fantasy VII): Revenge Earth wards off the physicals, chip->EQ avoids limits. Red can fire off fire spells granted... they're 4HKO? I'm assuming Tengaar can kill with physical -> Earthquake but am not entirely certain. Doubt many of Red's limits get around Revenge Earth anyway (only one that does is COSMO MEMORY?).
Necromancer (Final Fantasy V Advance) vs Jiro (Blue Dragon): Necromancer has turn 1 status, including stone. Jiro may well win if he gets a turn (Shina stun rate against undead is pretty good, and he actually has damage!), but I doubt he does; his MDef isn't high enough to ward off status hype.

Light

LeBlanc (Final Fantasy X-2) vs Kongol (Legend of Dragoon): Kongol can and must block blind. Leblanc 4HKOs him, and easily has a 4-3, so she just needs to survive two Kongol attacks. Alternatively, survive three Kongol attacks and use Not-So-Mighty Guard. I really have no handle at all on her HP, but I would be slightly surprised if she died -that- easily.

Maybe.

Umi (Cthulhu Saves the World) vs Jowy Atreides (Suikoden II) - Depends entirely who's faster here but I'm kneejerking that Umi falls shy getting the first hit in even under a speed twinked average.

Middle

Tengaar (Suikoden II) vs Red XIII (Final Fantasy VII) - I'll bite.

Emelious (Grandia III) vs Naja (Sands of Destruction)
I let Emelious have all his parts, so hax damage incoming, and Naja isn't the tank of the cast.

Umi (Cthulhu Saves the World) vs Jowy Atreides (Suikoden II)
Tengaar (Suikoden II) vs Red XIII (Final Fantasy VII)
I celebrate Thanksgiving by disrespecting Suikoden II characters.  Or something.  So Seal Strike hype.

Tengaar (Suikoden II) vs Red XIII (Final Fantasy VII) - Red's durability across the board runs in the range of 103% PC HP, so that's well within Tengaar's danger chip-2HKO range (she doesn't go lower than high 5HKO with her physical, that's like 110% PC HP at worst), and Red never goes above 4HKO with Fire 3 even for max mag damage twinking (which in turn makes his physical so bad she's not even bothering with RE if he tries -that-). Revenge Earth being faster than Red by a notable margin is just insulting, since it shuts off any chance Red might have to outrace her. I generally have -no- respect for non-Cait Sith FF7 PCs against Tengaar, she's too good at shutting off that particular game with her tricks and damage.

Light

Andarc (Suikoden Tactics) vs Shana (Legend of Dragoon) - Shana is ranged, which mitigates one of the problems Meru had that utterly shut her down against Andarc. Problems are: can you sanely consider Shana's stuff to bring his panels down? I don't think I can, which puts her in a horrible situation where she can't chip-2HKO and Andarc should 3HKO her at worst with physicals before Dragoon. I suspect she may not be able to 2HKO him through panels anyway, which just makes this a game-set-match kind of situation. Go Andy.

Tengaar (Suikoden II) vs Red XIII (Final Fantasy VII)

Light

LeBlanc (Final Fantasy X-2) vs Kongol (Legend of Dragoon)- Too clueless on LeBlanc's HP to vote
Andarc (Suikoden Tactics) vs Shana (Legend of Dragoon)- I do see Shana changing the panels! And starting with SP! And it doesn't even matter, as Shana's best damage is about 60% PC HP, and then her damage falls to 15% PC HP, then it falls to like 5%. She can't outpace his regen
...into the nightfall.

Godlike

Emelious (Grandia III) vs Naja (Sands of Destruction)
Der Fuhrer (Persona 2: Innocent Sin) vs Avalon (Legaia 2: Duel Saga) - Holding Mystic Arts against Avalon means his durability's probably nowhere enough for an SMT boss.

Heavy

Umi (Cthulhu Saves the World) vs Jowy Atreides (Suikoden II)
Ceodore Harvey (Final Fantasy IV: The After Years) vs Clarissa Arwin (Wild ARMs XF) - RobTurn~

Middle

Tengaar (Suikoden II) vs Red XIII (Final Fantasy VII) - What Gate said.
Necromancer (Final Fantasy V Advance) vs Jiro (Blue Dragon)

Light

LeBlanc (Final Fantasy X-2) vs Kongol (Legend of Dragoon) - Not a lot of LeBlanc respect.  Kongol starts with SP.
Andarc (Suikoden Tactics) vs Shana (Legend of Dragoon)
