1. Graduating college and (hopefully) starting a real career in a job I don't hate.

2. Paying back student loans. Whoof. I better get a job fast.

3.  Graduate college. I'm doing this in 2013, come hell or high water.

4. Study abroad. I wish I could have spent more time in France, I had an absolute blast in Lyon and didn't get to see Paris.

5. Ipod nano. I really needed a new MP3 player.

7.  I'm going up to DC for the minimeet next month, and probably to DLC, pending job status.

12.  2010. It started snowing at night and turned into a real blizzard, which we get about once a generation here. Talk about badass.

1. Potentially collaborating on a project with my best friend. Overall this year promises to be a rough one, though.

2. All of the things? If I have to pick one, the end of Homestuck. I'm half-anticipating, half-dreading whatever the ending ends up being, but not having new installments to look forward to will be sad either way.

3. No, because I need to sort out what I need to do with the next year before I make any resolutions about it.

4. My best Christmas present (see below). Other highlights include seeing one of my characters drawn by a great artist, getting a new desktop for the first time in almost a decade, and the release of XCOM Enemy Unknown. It was a great year even if I was far from great in it.
EDIT: And seeing Avengers, and seeing the Hobbit, and some great roleplay, and... yeah, this year kicked ass in many repsects.

5. A friend's trust. Sappy as it sounds it meant the most to me by far.

6. Rewarding that trust. Also a Chia Hello Kitty because Hello Kitty, fuck yeah!

An entire year without major events to plan or (hopefully) medical emergencies to deal with.

 - With any luck, going to university. I'm definitely gonna try to get that sorted, at least.

 - The wait for the above. Knowing I've basically got a 9-month wait on continuing with my life is pretty disappointing.

 - I don't normally do New Year's resolutions, but I'm going to try and prepare myself for writing more frequently by doing a poem every day of the year. Doesn't matter how shit they turn out, it'll just be to get some ideas going and to get me in the habit of writing consistently.

 - Probably the October Expo. Best convention I've been to for quite a long time.

 - Reaaally nice camcorder. Wanted one so I can record poetry/comedy night stuff.

 - A day out zorbing. (For those who don't know, that's being rolled down a hill in a giant hamster ball.)

 - Hopefully, although no idea where. I kinda want to go to Norway, and I still want to go to both the US and Canada at some point.

 - Got a few friends coming down from around the country, so got about 10-12 people coming to mine.

DLCon 7 and my trip to the South were pretty damned amazing. The concerts I went to were also great (Little Dragon! Austra! Kraftwerk!), not to mention getting to sneak into an academia games convention in November where, among other things, a robot about the size of a Gate danced and waddled.

5. What is the best Christmas gift you got this year?

So far, the ties and shirts. I direly needed some new socialwear, and they're very useful.

A dress to my sister? I s'pose it counts, it looks pretty good on her.

Always possibilities. May hit Bay Area or whatever.

I gave myself a copy of Crusader Kings 2, which I cannot stop playing to save my life.

I didn't give it, but I picked it out. My folks wanted to get my cousin something for Christmas that he'd like, and I suggested Pokemon Conquest as the game most likely to completely envelop his soul for the coming year, and lo and behold, I was right and he was glued to it for most of Christmas break. Honestly, I phoned it in this Christmas, and I'm not sure WHY.

7. Planning on doing any travelling next year? If so, where?
Niagara Falls, ON. Really looking forward to that. Actually, now that I remember I'm going there again, that's definitely my new answer to what I'm looking forward to in 2013. I fucking love Niagara Falls.

Eh. We just eat whatever on Christmas. Those butter cookies are fantastic, though. The ones you can get in the tins.

Minutes ago I purchased myself a steam copy of Freedom Force and Freedom Force v the Third Reich. I don't regret it at all, seeing as I don't know where my disk copies are and I honestly spent less money on it than I would a novelty beverage for myself, which I am also prone to buy.

Some of them. I am employed, at least. I didn't move into my own apartment, I didn't get the fucking abs or much muscular development at all (but it's finally starting to crack my way, so I've got fairly high hopes.) My personal and romantic lives remain jokes.

Might go out tonight. Might just stay in and brood.
