Voting form:

Final Fantasy 4 vs Phantasy Star Online Episode 3- FF4's music is generally good and fits the theme/scenes it is used in well. Idola's a lot of fun but the rest of the PSO music I heard didn't grab me the way it did.
Final Fantasy Tactics vs Chrono Trigger-  Kneejerk.  I consider CT's music to be among it's strongest points.
Radiant Historia vs Dissidia 012- Mental note, borrow RH from Pyro next time I see him.  RH's OST reminds me of Skies of Arcadia which is a good thing!
Dawn of Mana vs Wild ARMs 5- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Mj1qnf2uUI Dawn of Mana has nothing to match this.

Legend of Zelda vs Contra- Love energy zone.
Final Fantasy vs Castlevania 2

Final Fantasy Tactics vs Chrono Trigger: Unsure. Both games are notably better than their soundtracks to me, but the soundtracks are still decent enough... and around the same place. I'll await arguments. (Haha arguments about musical taste; well, it could happen.)
Radiant Historia vs Dissidia 012
Dawn of Mana vs Wild ARMs 5

Legend of Zelda vs Contra: I think Zelda's main theme trumps anything Contra. It's weird, I played Contra a lot but I don't find its music terribly memorable at all.
Final Fantasy vs Castlevania 2: Okay, I'll give early Castlevania this: it had good music. FF1's not bad but not at that tier.

Final Fantasy 4 vs Phantasy Star Online Episode 3 - I find myself less and less impressed by FF4 music as time goes on. Maybe just hearing it too much.
Final Fantasy Tactics vs Chrono Trigger - Hmm. Close, but the catchiness of the character themes from CT tips the scale.
Radiant Historia vs Dissidia 012 - Plays to my biases better, but I'm satisfied with an RH win here as well. Definately the strongest pair of the pool, IMO.
Dawn of Mana vs Wild ARMs 5 - As noted before, music is one of the few things WA5 does right.

Dawn of Mana vs Wild ARMs 5 Kind of funny that this is the second week in a row that I'm voting for WA5 over one of my noms. I love WA5's music to death but I knew someone else would nominate it. Decided to pick out some soundtracks that people wouldn't be as familiar with.

Final Fantasy 4 vs Phantasy Star Online Episode 3
I think the more linear, molded nature of the game itself benefits FF4 here.  While PSO3 is much better quality, FF4 feels like a better fit with the game and the OST as a whole.

Final Fantasy Tactics vs Chrono Trigger
No challenge

Radiant Historia vs Dissidia 012
No challenge

Dawn of Mana vs Wild ARMs 5
Dawn of Mana's soundtrack is infinitely better than the game.  Therefore, it doesn't fit well.  Hence, it loses.

Legend of Zelda vs Contra
Contra's soundtrack is the definition of background noise just because they needed to have music.  The stage 1 theme (Jungle) is the most memorable overall, but that's about it.  Zelda's feels so much stronger overall.

Final Fantasy vs Castlevania 2
Super, you mad an error - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2oZtvjg5oA&feature=related is Bloody Tears - you double-posted Gurgu Volcano.  Not like it matters - FF1 really doesn't have music.  It's a fairly weak soundtrack, and has way too many "sounds" instead of music (random beeps, etc.).  Just blah.

Final Fantasy 4 vs Phantasy Star Online Episode 3
Don't think the nostalgia factor is strong enough here. FF4 music is good, but PSO3 is still one of my favorites.

Final Fantasy Tactics vs Chrono Trigger
Chrono Trigger may be more iconic, but Final Fantasy Tactics has a few more standout tracks that push it over the edge and give it the win here.

Radiant Historia vs Dissidia 012
No strong feelings one way or another. They're both good in their own way.

Dawn of Mana vs Wild ARMs 5
Dawn of Mana's soundtrack has definitely impressed me. WA5 does have some good tracks, but it also has its fair share of forgettable tracks. That's going to cost it.

Legend of Zelda vs Contra
More memorable. Contra music is pretty catchy, though.

Final Fantasy vs Castlevania 2
I can recall exactly one track from Final Fantasy (the battle theme). I can recall quite a few more from Castlevania 2.

Here are some additional Phantasy Star Online 3 tracks in case you missed them in the first round.

Phantasy Star Online Episode 3
Chrono Trigger - Really close one, and I feel like to say FFT has better composition in general. But CT has this straightforwardness and a distinct character in its tracks that actually brings more life out of the game.
Radiant Historia

Dawn of Mana vs Wild ARMs 5
Dawn of Mana's soundtrack is infinitely better than the game.  Therefore, it doesn't fit well.  Hence, it loses.

I want to say this idea is pretty short sighted. The music don't necessarily have to fit the game, the game can fit to the music instead, or even use the music to reconstruct the experience. There is really more than one way for the music to carry out a game, and I say the OST should deserve more praise if the game it carries is crappy, which happened to Dawn of Mana.
The music really strengthen the art design and the general atmosphere and reduce the frustration from the bad stage design.
Goblin's Beat and Deep Green really made their respective stages a much enjoyable tour of terrain when I would otherwise scream in agony when looking at the bad stage design alone. I would also give Dance of Fool credit when it made me fight Masked Guru more than once when I absolutely hate vertical hide and seek of that stage.

That said. I am abstaining on this one. As WA5 managed to did the same with tracks like Mountain of No Return and Crossing Over the Sorrowful Land and such. WA5's has better individual tracks in general, but DoM's OST managed to carry out a crappier game, so they kinda cancels out.

Final Fantasy Tactics vs Chrono Trigger - Coinflip. Both are shining examples of gorgeous video game music and worthy of all the praise I could write. So I let Hatbot decide since I can't.
Radiant Historia vs Dissidia 012
Dawn of Mana vs Wild ARMs 5

Legend of Zelda vs Contra - Seriously? Is this the week of incredible OSTs going against each other? Contra I guess, but damn both of these are worthy.
Final Fantasy vs Castlevania 2 - I still hum Matoya's Cave theme to this day. Castlevania 2 is still really good, but this isn't fair.

<Nephrite> That is depressing.

Final Fantasy 4 vs Phantasy Star Online Episode 3 - I need to listen to the rest of the PSO3 soundtrack to vote.  Idola is great but beating FF4 will require breadth.
Final Fantasy Tactics vs Chrono Trigger - Exceptional match.  Both are great.  I guess I'll tiebreak for the one that's great in spite of having to work with SNES sounds.
Radiant Historia vs Dissidia 012 - EZ.
Dawn of Mana vs Wild ARMs 5 - I listened to the entire Dawn of Mana soundtrack for the first time in a long while, probably the second time ever.  It's pretty good!  Certainly not as good as Legend of Mana, and doesn't have some catchy tunes like SoM / SD3 had, but it's strong.  Better than the two example pieces proffered, actually.  WA5 is kind of a mixed bag.  The two nominated themes are good, and the OP themes are catchy enough, and there's a few interesting ones...  but it also feels like there are some misses, too.  And there's weird cases like super's hyped Persophone theme, which I thought was very good on initial listen and now don't really like.  So close match, but going with the more consistent soundtrack that still has some standouts.  (Both of these lose to RH anyway.)

Legend of Zelda vs Contra - LoZ has what, 3 pieces of music?  But 2 are super-iconic, and the other one is pretty good, and I'm not that impressed with Contra music.
Final Fantasy vs Castlevania 2 - <3 Bloody Tears.
