Hey, it's been a while, hasn't it?  How about a stat topic for a good, free RPG?  Last Scenario is a free RPG developed by the Goon SCF back in 2007, last updated recently in 2012.  It's a fun little game that plays itself very cliched to start, but deviates from that fairly fast.  It's fun, got a decent challenge, and is overall a good game I'd suggest everyone try.  For those interested, the game can be downloaded here: http://site.scfworks.com/?page_id=8.  Before we begin...


HUGE SPOILERS AWAIT WITHIN!  ALTHOUGH I WOULD SUSPECT THAT IF YOU'RE AFRAID OF SPOILERS IN A 6+ YEAR OLD GAME, YOU MAY BE A BIT CRAZY!


Last Scenario is fairly traditional.  Combat is turn-based.  Every character has an unique weapon and shared armour.  Skillsets are entirely based on equipment called spellcards.  Spellcards are non-unique, although nearly every one of them is purchasable near the end of the game.  Some  characters begin with spellcards equipped, which are assumed for their set-ups below.  Spellcards have 2 abilities, one which is always available, and the other which is available at 100% crisis.  Crisis is built by taking damage, and carries over between battles.  Crisis is gained at 1% per each 1% of max HP lost (so, unless you allow full crisis to start, only characters with healing can use crisis abilities).  The only way to lose crisis is to use a crisis ability or to die.  Spellcards also provide stat bonuses and reductions.  These stat modifications are applied to base stats only, not equipped stats.

STR: Physical attack power
VIT: Physical durability; note that defenses are % reductions, taken literally
INT: Magic attack/healing power
RES: Magical durability; note that defenses are % reductions, taken literally
SPD: Action speed
SKL: Critical hit chance; note that this is literal, and applies to all physical attacks in-game
DEX: Evade chance; note that this is literal, and works on all physical attacks in-game
LCK: Affects evade, critical hit chance, resistance to status, and the variability of damage dealt and received; it's very difficult to test the actual effect of it, but it appears to be approximately equal to 1% per every 100 LCK

PDEF: % physical damage reduction
MDEF: % magical damage reduction
CRIT: Critical hit %
EVA: Evade %

All status effects, positive or negative, last for 5 turns (including the turn they took effect), with the exception of instant death and petrify.

Paralyze - Afflicted cannot act
Instant Death - Afflicted dies
Berserk - Afflicted will physically attack a random enemy
Chaos - Afflicted will physically attack a random ally or self
Enfeeble - Halves physical damage dealt by the afflicted
Slow - Halves afflicted's speed
Silence - Afflicted cannot use magic
Blind - Halves afflicted's accuracy
Sleep - Afflicted cannot act; status is cancelled by receiving physical damage
Poison - Afflicted receives 10% MHP damage each action; can be fatal
Amnesia - Halves magical damage and healing dealt by the afflicted

Levels taken at 88 (~ the level you will gain after finishing all optional areas).  You could probably cut this down to about 75-80, where you would have finished all except the last 3 major bosses (Durile, Black King, Alexander).  You aren't missing anything except an awesome communal armour, a decent armour for men only, a fairly weak spellcard, an awesome helmet, and an unique accessory for Hilbert.  Not too bad, all things considered.  I do assume Hilbert's unique accessory in this.  This also assumes the +100 HP bonus from finishing a sidequest.  Damage tested on Gerethogs in the final dungeon (weak to Dark, strong to Light, balanced VIT/RES).  Criticals are +50% damage.  Variance in damage and healing is ~10% at max.  All fractions round up. 

At some point, if people want, I can add the storebought spellcards characters may want.  In addition, one of the minigames allows you to acquire some other communal armours and accessories that some may allow.  I only assume unique, starting, or commonly storebought equipment at this time, but if others want, I can add more.

I love bosses.  Especially in games where the PCs aren't that interesting, combat-wise.  Like here!

With the way defenses work, I have simplified this and made a note of how much they take in relation to most other enemies in the boss's general vicinity, rather than their total reduction.

Boss damages are base damages before defense reductions.  Defense reductions are noted in the PC averages. 

I assume 1 main party throughout the game, for simplicity standpoints.  This party is the overall best party, Hilbert (required), Matilda, Lorenza, and Zawu.  I use Ethan until Zawu is available, and substitute Ethan in place of Lorenza when she is not available.  Characters gain experience when out of the party, so levels are rarely a problem, but there's little reason to use Thorve or Randolph over the other characters.  Zawu vs. Ethan is a matter or preference - both raise the SPD average, though Zawu by a lot more.  Overall, your party will probably include Hilbert and 3 of Matilda, Lorenza, Ethan, or Zawu simply because they are the best characters, so I see no problem using a set group of 4.  I can post modified averages if desired.

*For final Castor, anywhere from 60-65 is probably ok, depending on how much post-game you do.  I posted stats for both level sets.  Level 65 assumes all 4 towers and the Hall of Judgment are completed.

**Final Castor is a chained battle, as in there is no pause in between any forms.  Alpha Castor chains directly into Omega Castor in the battle-screen, i.e., a multi-hit attack that kills Alpha Castor without finishing all hits will then hit Omega Castor for the remaining hits, and any characters who still haven't acted in the round Alpha Castor was killed will execute their actions.  In addition, all support spells cast in the Alpha Castor phase will still be in effect in the Omega Castor phase.

***For Omega Castor, the turn order will always be Throne -> Omega Castor -> Dominion
