Tetri (Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy) vs Uryu (Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy): Okay, so... uh. Spent a while trying to math this one out. I made a few assumptions:

-Uryu is just shy of a 3:2 on Tetri (the numbers have it as a borderline case, but I'm assuming Gate summoning, which Uryu must do, isn't -quite- instant)
-Everything in this fight has pefect AI. This is mostly for my sanity. Tetri is the one who suffers if you assume the plants are stupid. I'm not inclined to. One exception, though: I treat timed cards as hitting random targets.
-I hold support actions as ~20% HP de-credit against Uryu and not Tetri because Roots kinda wreck those in-game. You can quibble the exact numbers here very easily...
-Swordtree Trial is not affected by Mental Down.

These interpretations roughly result in the match being a tie by my views (blah blah everyone's a bit different for how we see boss HP, etc.). The final assumption is easily verifiable, though, if need be, so I should probably look into that. I'll do that later. Since the other assumptions favour Tetri overall, I'll probably vote for Uryu if it turns out Swordtree Trial isn't affected by Mental Down but for Tetri if it is. We'll see. Or someone else can argue me.

If anyone's curious, math for the fight:

Tetri: 1.43 PCHP x1.67 (x3.33 sometimes), 80% speed
-> 238/476 (Plant 24)
-Leaf of Death: 46% MT
-Falling Leaves: 33% (timed cards at 0.5, 1.0)
-Swordtree Trial: 49% x3 [20-40 and 60-80 HP ranges only]
-Anger of Trees: 12%, +20% magic damage thereafter, used by plants

Uryu: 1.69 PCHP x2, 120% speed
-> 338 (Gate 30)
-Glowing Spear: 59%
-Attack: 42%
-Triple Claws: 32% MT
-Dimension Gate: 69% physical at full health, used by Gates

(both fighters using their best strategies)
85  Uryu: Gate, Spear [12% to Tetri]
125 Tetri: Summon Plants, which use Anger of Trees x3 [13% to Uryu]
170 Uryu: Gate, Triple Claws [19% to Tetri]
250 Tetri: Leaf of Death [dead Gates, 35% to Uryu]
255 Uryu: Gate x2, Spear [31% to Tetri]
340 Uryu: Gate x2, Spear [55% to Tetri]
375 Tetri: Leaf of Death [dead Gates, 57% to Uryu]
425 Uryu: Gate x3, Spear [67% to Tetri]
500 Tetri: Swordtree Trial x3 on Uryu is a borderline KO at this point. If she misses it, Uryu doubleturns and wins. Of course, if Mental Down affects Swordtree Trial then this is horrific overkill.

(without the plants, which leads to Uryu winning)
85  Uryu: Gate, Spear [12% to Tetri]
125 Tetri: Falling Leaves [dead Gate]
170 Uryu: Gate, Spear [24% to Tetri]
192 Falling Leaves [10% to Uryu]
250 Falling Leaves [20% to Uryu]
250 Tetri: Swordtree Trial [dead Gate, 48% to Uryu]
255 Uryu: Gate x2, Spear [48% to Tetri]
340 Uryu: Gate x2, Spear [60% to Tetri]
375 Tetri: Swordtree Trial [2 dead Gates, 62% to Uryu]
425 Uryu: Gate x3, Spear [84% to Tetri]
500 Tetri: Leaf of Death [all Gates dead, 76% to Uryu]
Uryu doubleturns at this point and wins. If Tetri doesn't kill the gates, Dimension Gates barrage her at this point and Uryu wins.

Edited in a vote for Tetri for now. Feels like she has this on average of assumptions.

Edgar Roni Figaro (Final Fantasy VI) vs Millenia (Grandia II): Edgar is 92% speed, Millenia is somewhat slower apparently. Go first, Air Anchor. (Millenia gets off Spellbinding Eye! It just doesn't help her...)

Tetri (Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy) vs Uryu (Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy)- Tiebreaking for the far better fighter in game.

Heavy

Edgar Roni Figaro (Final Fantasy VI) vs Millenia (Grandia II)

Middle

Madchen (Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride) vs Ulrika Mulberry (Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy)- Status. Bounce doesn't help against Ulrika.

Tetri (Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy) vs Uryu (Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy) - EDIT: Just tiebreaking on Random's analysis, since his HP thresholds for bosses are usually closer to mine than NEB's are.

Edgar Roni Figaro (Final Fantasy VI) vs Millenia (Grandia II) - Welp.

Madchen (Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride) vs Ulrika Mulberry (Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy) - Not terribly inclined to see Ulrika's skillset as reflectable by SNES Dragon Quest Bounce of all things. This may well be an uphill fight for Madchen if you do -anyway-, since Ulrika immunes fire and she can heal with timed cards while Madchen cannot (and Madchen's offense without Explodet sucks).

Baybull (Super Robot Taisen J) vs Banon (Final Fantasy VI) - Christ.

Tetri (Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy) vs Uryu (Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy) - good question.  There's a bit of a problem here, namely that under my generally harsher view of boss HP, Spear -> MT knocks Tetri into Swordtree, so NEB's numbers look more like this to me:

85 Uryu: Gate, Spear [14% to Tetri]
125 Tetri: Summon Plants, which use Anger of Trees x3 [13% to Uryu]
170 Uryu: Gate, Triple Claws [21% to Tetri]

Which is a bit of a problem, so I suspect a plant just blows up at a gate instead since I assume they're frail enough to get OHKO'd by that, so Tetri at 79%, Uryu at 91%~ish, lower if plant #3 does something other than AoT since the main reason to use multiple AoTs is stacking Mdef down, but I think stacking Mdef down is fairly irrelevent in this scenario, Burst/Attack for the remaining two plants seems the better option, leaving Uryu at 82%.  So now Uryu is facing the looming threat of Swordtree Trial, but it's blunted somewhat by the fact that Tetri can't really suffer any gates to remain yet.  For reference Swordtree Trial x3 is about 49.7% of Uryu's HP to me.

250 Tetri: Swordtree Trial, one for the newly summoned gate, the other two for Fluffy [51% to Uryu under the assumptions listed above, dead gate]

At this point Fluffy using Spear twice will have Tetri's turn at 375 be under Swordtree [~49%->63%], which is game.  Trying to play cute with damage control at this is just delaying the inevitable, I think, since I doubt he can avoid triggering Swordtree form again before Tetri's fourth turn.

e: actually wait, he might try to play damage control earlier?  Hmmm TC (~7.5%) -> plants (doing whatever, probably AoT x3 in this case, so ~14%) -> TC (~15%) -> LoD (~40% after the boost from AoT x3) -> Spear (~29%)/Spear (~57%) -> STT and... yeah, that's not working.  Odd how this went opposite my initial kneejerk but so it goes.

Heavy

Edgar Roni Figaro (Final Fantasy VI) vs Millenia (Grandia II) - *welp*

Light

Baybull (Super Robot Taisen J) vs Banon (Final Fantasy VI) - Banon is the hero that Light deserves.

Tetri vs Uryu - really close math, tiebreaking based on this outcome actually happening in-game

Edgar

Ulrika

can't vote on SRW, but from what I hear, it's Banon as a clear winner. Amusing!

Edgar Roni Figaro (Final Fantasy VI) vs Millenia (Grandia II): Edgar goes first, and Millenia doesn't immune (all) his significant stuff.
