I had a strange dream where Djinn was giving advice on relationships and settling down. The gist of it he was lamenting about how difficult it is to be with more than one person or something with one person wanting to settle down with you, and talking about whether to pick one person, settle down, have kids/start a family, etc or to be have sex with lots of different people. Djinn apparently had a sudden yearing for settling down and was advising other people on the former too. What. Not sure which bizarro world I entered while I slept this time. This ... didn't really happen did it?

I don't know why I feel the need to post this.  I think it is to help get it out of my head so that I can maybe sleep properly.

Apparently I am dreaming in movies that I swear exist.  Still horror movies.  At least it is not generic slasher this time it is kind of an exploitation movie (Shit it is probably an amalgamation of Porno Holocaust and a bunch of other terrible exploitation movies).

It drifts in from what I presume is a regular dream since it does involve myself and my mother going to pick up some friends at an airport after a long holiday.  They convey the story.  This is the last where it is like a regular dream and just stops being a goddamned movie.

The story is of a specific plane crash event that is used to tell the story.  Through out the whole movie you keep seeing an image of a skull on an altar with eyes that stare directly down the camera.  So the plane crashes and there is a few survivors.  They are hunted viciously and captured.  Periodically they are killed and canibalized graphically.  Before they are eaten they have their eyes removed and the eyes in the skull are replaced with theirs.  It is the centrepiece of the whole canibalistic ritual.  No real need to expand on that in detail, it is the bulk of the movie and is just violence and gore.

The strange thing is I recognise it as purely an exploitation thing where the natives are done incredibly racist essentially and I even recognise that it is probably filmed in the Phillipines.

The story closes on a story of Mary-Anne, the only person to have ever survived the island.  She survived because a native chased her to the beach and she tried to swim away and escape the island to the nearest continent (identified as South America for some reason).  She succeeded grappling with the native and drowning him, being a stronger swimmer who normally does English Channel swims and shit.  The experience of merely being on this same island as these natives has scarred her so thoroughly that a psychologist is retelling her tale to a colleague.  Describing how during sleep therapy (which I actually mean as Hypnotherapy, but Sleep therapy makes it sound scarier in my dreams) she has developped a fugue state where an alternate personality shows up.  It is animalistic and violent.  She spends the whole time with a terrifying rictus on her face and the shot ends on her with her head tilted back on the same angle as the skull on the pedastal staring straight down the camera.

Now you can tell this is completely and totally a dream at this point because the personality in the fugue state is called Flash Gordon.  That skull I am seeing the whole time?  I am dreaming of an image of Morte from Planescape: Torment as a canibal fetish from a racist exploitation movie.

This keeps me from sleeping hopefully until I type this out.

At least this time I don't swear black and blue that the movie I am dreaming of exists.  I just swear black and blue that if it was actually filmed it would be shit house and never should be made.  I don't even like that kind of exploitation movie.

The robot endoskeleton of the Terminator has been a recurring antagonist in my dreams for MONTHS now.  Last night I tried to fight him with a 40mm grenade launcher (because that and a lead pipe are his only weaknesses) but all I had to make rounds out of were firecrackers and .308 rounds from a rifle.

It went poorly.

Oh, hey, I never posted my weird survival horror dream thing.
So, I had this amazing dream. It was actually in two parts, because the whole thing fit a song that was playing (I leave music on overnight generally) and I woke up before the dream finished, so put the song on and drifted back to sleep to see the rest of the dream.
So yeah, it was typical deserted town. Whole place was ruined, and the main character was this, like, 14 year-old girl who had been kicked out of her home because her mother was convinced that the girl was pregnant. So anyways, this girl had basically become part of a group that was fighting back against what was essentially a zombie apocalypse. She'd been exploring, but I came into this dream somehow knowing this information and following them on her return to her hometown. So, queue mini-montage sequence of her packing while her little brother tells her she has to help protect the house, and she blatantly ignores him. We see the mother's dead, zombies are gathering near the house. Girl is randomly sneaking out of the house and into a nearby forest throughout this entire sequence. Whole thing ends with her telling the brother they have to leave, and then standing back from tying a rope - she's tied the mother to a wooden pole, propping her up in front of the front door, to give the appearance that she's still alive. The girl turns to the brother, tells him that the mother was wrong, and then -action scene-
So, we see the zombies break into the house and completely maul the mother while the rebel group escapes through a back road, followed only by a few of the zombies. The girl tells the rest of the group to follow her -exactly- and she follows an odd path through the forest, while the zombies proceed to fall into traps that the girl was clearly setting up in the times she was sneaking out of the house. After a while, the traps stop, and there's only one or two zombies left chasing them. However, the boy's falling behind at this point, and struggling to keep up.
This is where the girl becomes either really bitchy or really awesome (or both). She drops back, saying there's a village up ahead that's been defending itself successfully from the zombies. She falls back towards the back, so that only two people are behind her. She then trips the guy next to her, without anyone seeing she did it except for her brother, and she then helps him to keep going. Naturally, the guy becomes bait for the remaining zombies, and the brother is able to get away. The guy at the front of the crowd, now, gets shot down - the village has stayed protected because they're constantly on guard, and the girl knew this, which is the other reason she's moved back in the group. Now that the village has stopped shooting, she moves back to the front in order to get the group through to safety.

And this entire dream was played to two playthroughs of Retreat, Retreat! by 65daysofstatic. <3

Ohhh new DL dream! NEB was the demonz. Ciato and I made a plan to save him through the power of FRIENDSHIP and SISTER/GIRL HOOD POWAH! Also I'm assuming true love was mixed in there on Ciato's part  :) This apparently also involved RINGZ and holding hands/singing and dancing to draw the life force of the demon from NEB into the ring. One ring turned out not to be enough so we had to rummage through dirt and water to find another one (yeah I'm totally blaming BoF2 toilet plot or Meeple for this  ;-)) after which it turned out we also needed a necklace for finishing off the process too. Then we resumed the process of holding hands/singing and dancing which also involved NEB joining in ... ... ... I guess he really didn't want to be a demon or something!? Also apparently the demon really wasn't that powerful or something because it didn't seem to be resisting the process of getting sealed away much, either that NEB's willpower was phenomenonly strong and he was managing to resist/prevent it from taking control. Or maybe the demon just had a plan. Since next thing I knew we were escaping on a ship which had the ability to both sail and fly. Only the water we were sailing on/flying above used to be land and we could see the buildings, etc under the water. The demon was hot on our tails and I think it was going to blast us and what remained of the world into smithereens, beyond smithereens and out of existence :( Somebody else on the ship mentioned that we were about to be flying right above where Lake Michigan used to be and there was a crack in it's bed that went down really deep underneath so if we threw the rings and necklace down at just the right time they would fall into this crack and they would never be found again so the demon would be sealed forever!? Okay~

(yes that last part came from/was based from a SK book which my mind must have adapted to it's own purposes >_>)

The thing about this dream is that NEB looked like his avatar but Ciato looked like herself =D

So I don't often remember dreams, but fuck this was creepy as anything and now I can't sleep.

Was back in school and on some kind of trip where we were on some nature path thing. We'd stopped to eat at a place where we could see over most of the town; this place was pretty far out the way, so nobody else around but our class. Suddenly, a few people start whispering and muttering and we realise there's a guy climbing a tree kinda near the cliff. Some people start laughing, some are scared, most are just kinda confused.. Then he pulls out a crossbow and a list of names and starts taking people out in order from around the town/my class. One or two people try to run but we see one get hit at some point anyways, so we realise it's kinda useless running from it, and I spend most of my time hiding behind a tree. At random points, this guy looks at me, smiles and nods, and then carries on shooting people. It's fucking weird. Oh, he also randomly misses his target, hits someone else, and carries on aiming. This happens about 6 times in a row at one point.
Yeah, I.. this dream was fucking creepy for me. :|

I had the dream where I was Magneto again. It was as cool as it sounded. I terrorized the Flatscans with their own pitiful weapons, which in their folly, they thought could harm the Master of Magnetism.

Near as I can remember, I talked like that the whole time.

I had a weird fusion dream last night involving Suikoden, Merlin (kinda based off last night's episode with Arthur, Lancelot and the other knights as well as Merlin himself) and FFXIII. The main theme seemed to be finding true runes and those who could use them, there were new/unique true runes as well. When I put my hand in the basket thing containing the true runes the ones which reacted to me where the Life/Lifestar Rune, the Birthday Rune (Happy Birthday!) and the Love/Friendship Rune >.> Yeah I don't know~

I had a dream last night conflating two girls I had crushes on in the past together, and it made me sort of realize that I do, in fact, seem to have a type.

I've been told that if you have a type, you should maybe branch out and try something else, but at the same time, a big part of my type is "Girl that doesn't necessarily need me", and I'm pretty sure that's a healthy thing to be attracted to.

I was at the store, barefoot, trying to buy some last minute supplies and food because I had a big gig---my first big gig---I'd be hosting an NBA TV show alongside Charles Barkley and Kobe Bryant (who was hosting despite not being retired. Weird.)

So I get my supplies, eat, change and then I hop on the bus, and I sneak what is apparently a shot of 151 on with me, to put a little fire in my belly. And who should I run into on the bus but my co-star Charles Barkley?! He looks over at me, and he says, now, don't tell the bus driver, but I got a little something to steady my nerves before the show, and sir Charles is holding a 40. I show him my shot of 151, which I immediately down and give him a wink, and Chuck just thinks this is HILARIOUS. Now, instead of responsibly getting ready for our show, we reason we're on the late bus anyhow, and we'll never get there in time in the first place, so Mr Barkley just keeps feeding me various liquor, and he seems to have a thing for making new mixed drinks. I must have woken up or something then fallen back to sleep, but the next thing I know, I'm sitting at a table with Charles Barkley and all these attractive ladies, somewhere in a bar, and I'm loaded off my ass. Chuck keeps handing me drinks, and I feel so guilty, and I'm trying to plead with him, "No, Sir Charles! You're already rich and famous, I just screwed up, I screwed up bad", and he keeps laughing and saying it'll be all right and feeding me his odd cocktails.

So yeah. I dreamed I was getting drunk with Charles Fuckin' Barkley.

MODIFY
He was feeding me these, but I've never heard of them, and he wasn't setting them on fire, but this was the only thing that had the ingredients right.

Your dream-alcohols are surprisingly specific.

Yet your dream-women seem surprisingly generic. ("there were a buncha women around... I WAS DRINKING WITH CHARLES BARKLEY!!!")

I suspect you may not actually have a type.

Barkley is surprisingly short, although I guess he'd still be considered tall by day-to-day standards.

According to my dreams, Djinn, my type are very petite latin numbers, although I don't have particularly many dreams of that nature and in person, I like.... uh.... girls closer to my own height with some long-ass torsos and sexy waists.

I was in my old high school science class, just me and my old teacher. And I forget what he was chewing me out over, but I noticed this big, silky ball hanging from the ceiling. And inside, it was filled with all this black fur. Suddenly, the ball started expanding and opening. And I was freaking out because I realized--- SPIDERS!---and my science teacher was all stoic about it. He didn't fault me for panicking, but he was all "Hmmm. It's very unlikely that there are poisonous spiders in this area. Let's see what happens". And the ball kept expanding, and the little black spots pulled apart and they were HUGE. I mean god damn huge. These were shit your pants big spiders and they were BABIES.

I stood there frozen in horror, and then the ball dropped from the ceiling and all the little spots inside pulled apart and----

----They were all kittens! And they came over to me and nuzzled me and made adorable mewing noises. It was a pretty good dream.

In my never ending quest for all my dreams to be about creating cliche things.  Plot for a generic sword and sorcery novel.  Ripping off Weis, Hickman and probably fist fulls of other pulp fantasy like a boss.  Don't feel like expanding on specifics.  It was like the first 20 or so pages with no concept of the long term.  Maybe I should see if there is an audiobook of the Dark Sword Chronicles or something to get rid of these urges.

I've not been drinking the last few days.  Started dreaming again.

Summary: After an elaborate plot to steal a single beer can from an elementary school, Bernie Mac in a wedding dress stripping.
