Go re-read Piggy's dream. Remember that sleep can be awesome. =P

In his dream, -a species went extinct-. -A really freaking cool species-. That's vaguely depressing.

Djinn.  You need to stop reading so much crappy manga on your way to work.  Or playing less crappy RPGs.

Recently I have been dreaming that I am in some zombie infested world.

Let me tell you, climbing to the tops of things never seems to work.

??? I don't see how anything in an RPG would have led to that kind of morbid dream... If anything, it sounds more like an American-style TV crime drama...

However peeps especially super weren't pleased about me being apart from the group especially since we were all sleeping in huge, dark place and Ultradude and Bard weren't enough for my protection or something.

Somehow this made me snigger. Silly CT.

Silly CT, the thing to remember about America is that it's huge.  There are parts of the country with plains uninterrupted, parts that are forest far as the eye can see, inland bodies of water that could pass for great seas, uninhabitable mountains...
That parts with berserker bears (ie grizzlies) tend to be moderately forested mountains though.

... Nobody is this... oblivious.  I... hope.

A lot of butchering dreams recently.  It's odd, because they're not very INTERESTING.  I'm just repeatedly skinning and cutting apart already murdered livestock.  I really don't get it.  I've always had the odd repetitive or boring dream but they've never recurred.  I'm starting to think that there's more to these dreams than I recall.  Toying around with using my writing journal to get down the jist of the dreams before they fade, see if my dreams are really this boring or if I just don't remember the cool parts.

Though, maybe it's better that way.  If I really am having a recurring assembly line butcher dream, and there's nothing more to it, that... is kind of depressing.

You guys are lucky. My dreams are boring. I'm just in a plane and it crashes, and I can feel all the pain even after waking up. I wish something funky happened in my dreams.

Oh, yeah, Djinn:  I guess it's less that you play too many RPGs and more that you are exposed to too many archetypical damsel-in-distress-gets-kidnapped-by-villain-and-then-bad-things-happen-because-villain-has-issues plot lines.  Morbidity aside, which still strikes me as more inline with Anime/Manga/RPGs than anything else.

I can see that happening in a American Crime For-TV Drama but it'd be a lot more focused on the cops being DRAMATIC in the lab.  Or court.  Or whatever happens in those shows.  They are terrible.

Wait what am I doing in people's dreams you don't even know what I look like please don't tell me you imagined me as Kanji.

EDIT: Oh and America totally has fields and trust me, bears are not terribly uncommon if you live near forests. My grandmother had bears tearing through her trash every so often where she used to live.

Wow... -that's- how you interpreted the dream? I totally got a sense of it being more focused on the guy being a coward and a useless drifter and not being able to do anything to make the world a better place and ending up dead in a deep fryer. And his wife lost an arm because of him. What a useless jerk.

The deep fryer is unimportant. All that matters is the part about being a useless coward. But if you want the next best thing for wanton murdertastic violence against japanese high-schoolers, go watch School Days.

Two dreams, one night before last, one last night.

Night before last is distressingly easy to summarize: "friend commits suicide in front of me". (Said friend is still alive. I checked.)

Last night was... a bit more complex and a lot more lighthearted.

Bunch of friends and I end up heading to an amusement park. I'm mainly just walking around, enjoying the sights, when one of my friends grabs me by the ear and drags me through a statue garden to... a tower on the side of a building.

Okay, whatever. We go in, I'm kinda "eh wuteva" as we crowd into an elevator. We start going up... and up... and I go "wait, how high are we going?". One of the friends turns to me and goes "Oh, just ten thousand feet up." Acrophobia kicks in through my dream at this point and I close my eyes until the "top", where everyone files out... and gets into line for a ride. Specifically, a cross between those seatless bottomless rollercoasters and a large monorail, except the thing had handlebars as well for people to grip to.

I, of course, get forced onto the ride. Despite being freaked out as well, I vaguely enjoyed it?

Irrelevant note: the person that got in behind me on the ride was Snow.

If it makes you feel better, I've had a few dreams that involved DL members (around 3? 4? times now) and you've never -once- been in them.

At least a dream of yours wouldn't have subtle unfortunate implications - they'd be completely obvious.

I'm not oblivious! Just hopelessly clinging to naivety and trustfulness >_>

CK that's cool, I'm glad ^_^ It makes me to happy to know there is so much unspoiled countryside left in the word despite everything.

Generic male figure Ultradude though I've had dreams of people appearing as their avatar before <_<

Generic male figure is good enough. Imagining people as their avatars can get all kinds of weird when you have Dojima corrupting the desperately optimistic Mothra.
