Few can match the grace or speed of the pegasi riders of Frelia, their aerial acrobatics the things of legends told by frightened brigands the world over. While Kite may be the self-proclaimed, perhaps egotistical savior of The World, such a lofty claim can earn only skepticism from one so level headed and focused as Vanessa. Instead, the seasoned soldier will focus on Kite's prowess in combat, which plays directly into her strengths. Kite is not particularly swift on his feet, and depends on melee weaponry to cut down his enemies, both limitations to his technique that Vanessa is fully capable of exploiting to great effect. A few strikes of a lance, a graceful sweep away from Kite's blade, and the match is won.
