Yeah, I was the lone scum player. And I thought I was doing pretty damn good at it and I'm vaguely irritated to have been defeated by what amounts to a role puzzle at the end.

For the other scum players: I presume you got the message on day one?

Ha! Nicely effing played, El Cid. I honestly thought Bardiche was the lone scum and killing you was just culling the herd to push for an easier lynch on him. Ah well. Congrats, town (even though I completely sucked*, personally). Can't wait to see Alex's role/action breakdown and such.

Heh, fun game! I was annoyed I didn't get a chance to Triple Finish when I had the chance (for those curious, its equal to 3 Smash Votes in a row, as in, 3 votes on the person, they die if above the threshold, etc.) I was planning on using it on Captain K, but I didn't expect to be taken out so early since...yeah <_<;

ALSO: let me express my irritation at two out of my four investigation targets being killed the same night, and my first one being mod-killed for inactivity soon after. Aside from the actual debate aspect, this game was a huge headdesk for me. A fun one, but very frustrating near the end. I knew were we fucked once I saw that no one had been killed night four. Immediate assumption was that Andy was blocked and that he'd get lynched for it. Yeah.

I believe they explained it.  It was kill one, block the other, or vice versa.  Either way, you were kind of screwed.  If they had killed Bard, they'd have seen there was no kill the next night, and you'd be in the same position Andrew was.  Vice versa...well, you saw the results.

Cid: Because the only thing I knew was that if you took the kill, you lost your power. Unless I totally forgot it, Cappy never mentioned that Alex heavily implied you had a kill power. Therefore, given my natural distrust of the set-up anyway, I felt better taking the kill and leaving you to do whatever. I had no reason TO give you the kill.

And no. I was clueless on who the other scum was. Cappy thought it was Tai, I had no clue.

Because I also had a bizarre fear that Bardiche as a lone scum player would have some way to evade my nightkill and we'd be back to square one. With you no longer an option, then we could lynch him confidently. *shrugs*

Just to fill people in on my plans:

Squeaky-Clean means I would have returned town to every investigator regardless of sanity or framing. Which would have been interesting, given the wacky cop results.

Poisoning: I act on somebody, and if the attack is successful, they die the following night. Doctor protection on the night when I act stops the kill, but if that hits there's nothing that can keep the target from dying. Would have hopefully made for a very confused doctor and/or bus driver!

Quasi-Sort-Of-Bulletproof: I'm Master Hand, bitches. You can't smash me. I had 300 HP for the game, and voting for me would take off however much HP a vote was worth at the time. The only way to kill me was to reduce my HP to 0 - smashvotes just did damage as normal votes, and nightkills would take off 50 HP. There's no way to heal damage done (including unvoting), but each player only gets to hit me once per day. So I'd really have had to work on keeping my head down.

The idea was to survive into LYLO and then draw a scumhammer, which I would survive. Then I'd claim Metal Mario, and let town mop up the now-obvious scum while I mopped up town. It would've been so cool, too.

Highlights:
- Ciato attempts to vig Tai with the hammer, Tai jails her that night more or less randomly.
- EVERY LIVING PERSON targets Andrew Night 3 except his scumbuddy; both scum target Nitori.  Rat inadvertently throws a wrench on everyone; had he not chosen to bus Andrew night 3, Andrew would have been jailed, no kill, and the events of the last game day would have probably played out much earlier.
- Scum never trust their lone gunman.  They never have much idea who he is either; possibly Captain or Tom did but Andrew told me he was largely clueless all game.
- FIRST PERSON TO CLAIM MILLER IS ALWAYS SCUM.

Town MVP:  Strago.  Spot on both in day and night phases.  Taking out Tom night 1 was a bit lucky, but definitely set the tone of the game, viewing it from a mod's perspective.  Scum really never recovered.
Scum MVP:  Cid.  Played a really solid game and would have almost certainly won if the scum team as a whole hadn't fallen down a slippery slope in the role game. 

I'll give people some time to continue celebrating before a detailed breakdown, feel free to ask questions.

I just want to clarify why I went for the targets I did.

Night 0: Carthrat, to me, seemed like a damn good player. I wanted that cleared first. Then I saw him as scum, and as I often do I get overzealous with my role and jump at the slightest. If I was paranoid cop, it really fitted with my entire mindset this game. I was paranoid of EVERYONE.
Night 1: Captain K was being suspicious, and I wanted to see what he was. I expected some sort of lynch on him, but decided that if he was Town DayVig I wanted to do what I could to save him. When I saw the situation was unsalvagable, I just decided I should check my sanity with that.
Night 2: Ciato because I already investigated Rat, and Ciato also wanted to hold back. I had no idea why.
Night 3: Andrew because of gutting it. He got Captain K killed, but it almost seemed town cred to me. I mentioned this anyway.
Night 4: Taishyr because I wanted to check my sanity again.
Night 5: Strago because I had to pick something. lol

Not at all. It was included in my role PM, so I presumed I was intended to make use of it. Since there's no harm in posting it now:

You are Falco, Town Miller!

As the cocky bird from Star Fox, you... oh, heck with it, I'm not working Star Fox plot into this.  You're a furry and that means you return scum to cop investigations.  Sucks, eh?  As you aren't tourney favorite Fox, you have no other major powers.

Minor Power:  Annoying Blaster Spam.  Once per day you may ##Shoot someone with your blaster and deal 1% damage to them.

You win with the town when all threats to the town have been KO'd.

At least, that's what you want them to think.

You are actually Falco, Lone Gunman Scum Rolecop/Janitor!

THIS IS A COMPLEX ROLE.  READ IT CAREFULLY AND MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND IT.  ASK THE MOD IF YOU NEED HELP.

Everything in your fake PM above is true.  You return scum to investigations, since you are in fact scum, and you can blaster people for 1%.

You know that the primary scum faction consists of Captain K (Pink Luigi, Godfather and Daykiller), Evil Tom (Link, Roleblocker and oneshot Governor), AndrewRogue (Toon Link, Busdriver), and yourself.  There's one catch, though.

They don't know who you are, and you MAY NOT communicate with them (or anyone else) outside the thread.

Your scumbuddies do know that they have a fourth member out there somewhere, and they know that you know who they are.  They will probably be looking for you and trying to figure out who you are - subtly.  There may or may not be townies that have been alerted to the presence of a disconnected scum in the game, and will be watching for your signaling, so being too obvious about it is quite ill-advised!

If the godfather does not use his daykill power, the scum faction will submit a nightkill and a choice of player to perform it, as usual.  However, your presence changes things up a bit.  You have no input in the decision, UNLESS your buddies choose to send you on the nightkill.  If they choose you to perform the kill, they CANNOT send you a suggestion of whom to kill - the decision will be yours and yours alone.

If you perform the nightkill,  your Janitor power will conceal the alignment and role of the killed player (assuming you are successful, of course).  They will flip as ????-aligned, ???? role.  You and you alone will learn the true details of your victim.

If you are not selected by the other scum to perform the nightkill, you may act as a Rolecop, targeting one player at night and finding out their role name.

Your scumbuddies know that you have powers, but not what your powers are.

You (actually) win with the primary scum faction when all other players have been KO'd or such event is inevitable.

Please respond to this message via PM, IRC, or other medium confirming receipt of your role and giving your night 0 rolecop investigation choice (since no killing roles work night 0).  

Feel free to ask the mod questions anytime.  As mentioned, this is a tough role to play.  Good luck.

It was also implied, via PM from the mod, that my Shoot command would kill QR once she was revealed as Pichu. I was actually going to "accidentally" kill with this day two if the other scum didn't do it first, possibly sacrificing myself to the following suspicion but at least helping the team. Not necessary, as it turned out.

And yeah, I think I'm getting the hang of this scum thing.
