Stallion, at his core, is a generic fantasy elf with a large nose and the ability to run really, really, really fast.
Balbaroy, at his core, is a really big bird.
Generic fantasy elves are master hunters.
Birds, even large ones, are things that tend to get hunted.
Can we see where this is going? Balbaroy saw it too, and decided to take a gamble on a kamikaze dive as soon as the bell rang, knowing that he was at a disadvantage in the battle of archetypes.
There was still a problem with this tactic though. He went for a divebomb against someone who is really, really, really fast.
Needless to say, he never connected. Well, he did connect, just not with Stallion.
