For clarification, are we waiting for that magical 17 or going uh, i think it's scheduled today? I'm trying to talk some friends into joining, but so far my efforts have been in vain. If we're starting today, then I'll cease and desist my attempts, otherwise I may be able to get them to play tomorrow at the earliest, and after the weekend at the latest (since I'm going to be gone for the weekend).

(if it isn't obvious, yes, I'm blatantly requesting that if you planned to start today, if you could wait until at least sunday when I am definitely back. In return, I'm trying to talk some (about four) friends into joining, of which I may be able to get two of them to make that magical 17.)

Nah, we're not starting today. I am waiting on players sixteen and seventeen still, yes, but the game wouldn't start until the weekend in any event.

Since I'm back from England, I'm definitely good to go. I will be somewhat hard to catch a hold of the next few days as I start my residency (well, Tuesday-Friday, maybe the weekend too), but I'll be able to post and all the fun stuff.

Well, I've asked pretty much everyone by this point. We can run with sixteen if we have to; I just prefer odd numbers because it makes getting a majority vote easier. If I don't have #17 by tomorrow morning, I'll just get ready to go with sixteen instead and send out the role PMs at that time.

Just to clarify, this is one of the four possible people I had in mind that could join us for a game of Mafia here. He hails from a small gaming community where, just recently, I introduced Mafia to the masses. Suffice to say some of them are pretty excited about it, although they aren't yet STELLAR PRIME EXAMPLES OF AWESOME PLAY.

So I guess this is me asking you folk to keep this in mind during the game so that delta won't be lynched on accounts of not understanding how it's played here. I already told him tids and bits of how serious mafia is here, but like me, he may be astounded at first.
