With Halloween Town redecorated in the scattered bits of its king, Ansem can now move onto real challenges. But alas, his next opponent will not sate his thirst for knowledge of hearts, nor his thirst for a fight that isn't a pathetic joke. A self-important ex-ninja who spends his days wasting away in a remote town with no desire for knowledge? How foolish. And in battle, his adversary isn't much more noteworthy. Godo's status effects will do absolutely nothing to the heartless sage, and his beastly sword is no match for Ansem's shadow rush. Being a ninja may get you far in life, but in the end, DARKNESS will always triumph, and Godo will be left waiting for an opponent who doesn't completely outclass him.
