Maybe we don't need a high school exit exam, maybe we need a high school citizenship reaffirmation exam.
Quick, somebody name the next big-scare disease "moron flu."

With the PS3 Sony skipped a generation, eventually Microsoft will be forced to make their own blu-ray console to match the PS3. That's when the PS3 is going to pwn just about everything.

When it comes to pure strength, the PS3 wins out on everything. It's much much much more powerful than the Xbox 360. The reason why it doesn't look as amazing for most games is because Microsoft has this policy of forcing game developers to make PS3 and Xbox 360 games equal in graphics, because their weak console can't handle the kind of graphics the PS3 can.
Follow up on "Are Oklahoma students completely brain-dead:" Quite possibly not. Nate Silver of '08 election fame thinks that the pollster who did that poll basically isn't really a polling outfit but rather people who make up plausible-sounding numbers (since they never release polling methodology or deeper results or anything). Strategic Vision, LLC was in fact the people that did the Oklahoma poll.http://www.fivethirtyeight.com/2009/09/are-oklahoma-students-really-this-dumb.htmlBasically, the killer: While I could conceivably imagine that Oklahoma schools critically fail and perhaps only 23% of students know that George Washington was the first president... the fact that *no one*, 0 students, got 8 or more questions right? Nobody who had good parents, or read from a book? These questions were not exactly hard.... there should be at least a few nerds in Oklahoma who know this basic stuff by *high school*.So there's still an idiot of the day, just a new one: Strategic Vision. (See Silver's earlier posts for why he thinks they're cooking the books and saving valuable money by cutting out the "polling" part of polling.)
