"Police said they told Schlicker's mother about the threats; she allegedly told them she wasn't worried and promised to lock up any guns in the house."

"At one point during the day, Schlicker said, he went to the garage to get a drink and found his father's shotgun and ammunition lying on the counter."

That is the IotD.

Epic fail. I can't count the money they'll lose.

Man, I sneak into movies now because $10 dollars a ticket is too much sometimes.  $35?  Hah.

If I'm paying 35 bucks for a movie it better come with a free BJ or something.

I thought that was implied.

This might make money. If I was better-off I know I would be willing to pay more money for food service and not being crammed into a theater box like a bunch of rats.

Heh.  used to go to a similar establishment once, the beloved Chunky's Cinema in Windham, ME.  Good food, reclining seats (all repurposed from old Chevys, I kid you not), good times.  'Course, the movies cost $5, so that helped.  God, I saw the first American Pie there, and Farenheit 9/11 later.  Time sure does fly.

It would be nice if food and drinks were free, but according to the article, all food is extra. I think the waiters would be more distracting to people to me than being in a crowded theater.

Yeah, agreed. Though if they took all orders before hand, and served them later it wouldn't be as bad. But for 35 dollars, I'd think a nice little meal would be included. Hell, I'd rather just sneak McDonalds in with me into a normal theater and save about 20 bucks, and probably enjoy the movie more knowing I spent that much less to, ultimately, see the exact same movie.

Most theatres aren't really crowded unelss you insist on seeing a Blockbuster on opening weekend.  Even then if you get there before 5 it's not usually too bad.  (Biggest city I see movies in has 100k people, so this might be different in an actual city.)

Wait what, you guys don't have things like that in the states?  It is a common enough thing here.  One or two cinemas out of twenty isn't a big deal.  It isn't like converting all cinemas to it or something.  It gives people the opportunity to a slightly more comfortable alcohol license venue to see movies at.  It is extra money for extra service options, I fail to see how that is a bad thing in the eyes of you retarded capitalist troglodytes.

I have been and didn't really see the fuss, but it wasn't like it is a niche without a market.  If they had some kind of SHUT THE FUCK UP AND TURN YOUR PHONE OFF FOR REAL policy then I can see figures only rising.

We have one of those style of movie theaters/food service places here, but they just play older movies at (cheaper) prices and offer food. It's a nice place to catch a film at.

That was me that said that by the way.

And I live in a tiny town so crowding isn't an issue, but the seats are really close together and don't recline, not to mention they're often sticky. It's not like I weigh 300 pounds or anything, but you can't deny they try and cram as many people as physically possible into one space and I resent that.

That sounds an aweful lot like a regular cinema there.  You don't spend that much money on tickets to get crammed into tiny places.  You pay less, expect less service.

Tickets are 10 bucks anyway, I think that's enough to warrant not having to take a yoga class to fit into a seat.

That is BDSM, what did people expect?  The really hard stuff is pretty fucked up.  I strongly doubt it is because the guy is a Nazi but more the whole Taboo factor being ramped up to 11 and you can add a dash of Freudian analysis of the relationship between the son and the father if you want.

It is just sex.  Things done with sex fantasies even less represent how people feel than the shit they say when they are drunk.  I would be more bothered if he had a history of spouting out anti-semitic garbage every weekend where I am sure he is off his face at the races.

Less than 25% of Detroit students graduate high school.  America's biggest city is at 45%.  We win!

Remember that group of people who thought they were really dragons and werewolves and vampires and stuff? Well this is is the same thing except they think they're really anime characters. I'm not sure which one is more pathetic.

that depends.  If they're, like, reborn from Sailor Moon that would totally suck, because they're all like, "I attack you with my pretty makeup!"  But then again that'd mean they wear short skirts a lot, which is cool, but not as cool as if they're from a cool anime like DBZ!!  Son Goku could totally kick your butt!  It'd be awesome to be him!  Not some hairy werewolf or some shit.  Yeah!

What in FFT desperately needs a new FAQ all to itself because there's so much to talk about?  The blood sword...apparently.
