I was tempted to post this in misc links at first. Japanese little girls singing Dschingis Khan, which is kind of funny. Then you read the comments and it is guys having massive boners for 14 year olds and it reminds me to stockpile enough ammunition to have a bullet for everyone else on the planet.

Out of curiosity and because I wasn't alive 30 years ago, please explain what Dschingis Khan is about (or its significance) that makes it so amusing?

Although, just judging from the melody, I can guess that it isn't a particularly deep song...

Dschingis Khan is a hilariously cheesy '70s song that is about as bubbly and nonsensical as you'd expect from '70s disco, only also scandinavian. You can infer the rest from there. >_>

I either have much better luck than Grefter, or have a tendency to focus more on positives, but the comments seem...not at all like what Grefter was describing

Still haven't read anything about the game beyond the first page, but at a glance it appears to be your typical RPG fare. It might even be a decent (if cut-and-paste) monster-catching game under all the pink fluff. There's obviously a market for pink fluff, so Atlus is advertising for it. If you don't like pink fluff (and I don't blame you), fine. But getting mad at pink fluff for being pink fluff seems pointless. It's like getting mad at Mortal Kombat for being ridiculously bloody...

Saw this in a magazine recently and thought it was a pretty good concept. The going on adventures because you're the HERO OF JUSTICE!!! thing has gotten more than cliche. Why not go on adventures because you're a spoiled bitch who wants everything she sees? At least it's something different.

1) I'm honestly not convinced that this is targetted at females, rather than male fanboys who like Libby/Tsundere type females in their anime/video games. It's such a blatant example of taking a stock character to extremes parody-style I really don't think it was meant to be taken serious.

2) What exactly qualifies as "made with females as a specific target audience", aside from stuff with obviously girly artwork like Rhapsody? Does Personal Trainer Cooking count if Nintendo (I think it's a Nintendo product) advertises it all the time on Food Network and the like? Does Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts count when Nomura starts blatantly pandering to the female/yaoi audience with the character designs? Does Harvest Moon or The Sims count for being lifestyle sim type games instead of something centered around violence like the average FPS/platformer/RPG/action/etc. game?
