Which I am heavily considering of writing a theme for and trying my hand at modding, after El Cideon finishes with the Suicide Squad thing.

Edit - Nevermind. The level of play degraded a ridiculous amount with my several month hiatus from AIM/IRC Mafia, so uh, you guys wouldn't want any part of this thing now. I just gave up on them myself. <<

Just dropping a note here that Mia and I claimed a Geass Mafia some time ago, so... Before anyone else gets overzealous and wants to run theirs, we'd like to run ours after Laggy's ends, 'kay?

We're looking for fifteen people... Probably a bit too ambitious given the difficulty in gathering 11 players for Laggy's game... But I figured I'd give a heads up, anyway.

There really is no queue, people stopped adhering to it a while ago. Bard will just throw up this game after mine ends and if interest bites it does, if it doesn't it doesn't.

I sorta wrote an on-going story that revolved around the events of the mafia.

Speaking of this, let's just get this out of the way.

Who is actually still interested in playing Mafia? To be blunt, it's plain to everyone that there are hangups about just who runs it, but that can be worked around, I'm just curious about the average turnout a game can really expect once it gets going. It seems to hover around ten, which sorta blows, since I feel the game style and flexibility undergoes massive leaps depending on whether you have 9, 13-18, or 19+ people in general.

Seriously though? From now on I'm going to stick to playing setups that are either guaranteed bog standard (as in, no roles except those you can find in the infamous Mafiascum flash) and vetted by at least two decent players I can trust, or themed role madness setups that appeal to me, preferably also somewhat open about what you can expect in them and looked over for something akin to balance.

While I still have an interest in mafia (modding and playing), as was previously seen with the last mafia I intended to run, I really am not high on time at the current moment. 16 hour days 7 days of the week is :_:

I'll play in the right game. I'd also love to mod the one I made way back when (vetted by one game balancer in the DL, but I'd like to run it past 1-2 more that wouldn't be playing just to make sure). Don't phear the pokemons.

Also good would be to see more kinds of social games besides just Mafia. When all you have to eat is steak, after a while the thought of eating steak is rather nauseating. If we want Mafia to pick up, we really need to bring another meal to the table.
