Team Tranquil | Yuri2, Eiko, Songstress, Lucia, Nei
[Floor 2a]
Team Tranquil vs. Lorenta, Jelanda, Shiho, Mystina - Dancer smash VP mages.
Team Tranquil vs. FF1 Knight, FFT Knight, PC Beatrix - Same as team Tonfa here, really, way back then.
Team Tranquil vs. FF1 Black Mage, FFT Wizard, Vivi - Dancer smash FF mages.
Team Tranquil vs. Lucius, Serra, Renault and Moulder - Dancer smash FE clerics.
Team Tranquil vs. Lete River Ultros - Um, wow, I'm impressed, Ultros puts up a goddamned fight here. If it wasn't for Yuri2 probably picking up Fire damage here (which he should if he wants to live), the team would have a good chance of blowing up.

Team Tide | Sasarai (TER), Ephraim, Garnet, Arnaud, Duran(Light)
[Floor 5a]
Team Tide vs. Guy(L2) and Guy(FE7), Guy (ToTA) - Arnaud solo puny Guys.
Team Tide vs. Kyra, Kary and Karin - A focused assault of Garnet+Sas+Arnaud takes care of Kary. Good, too, since she'd bust their nuts otherwise. Past that, Arnaud ID weapons Kyra and Karin sucks.
Team Tide vs. FF4a Cid, FF7 Cid, Seed - Eph is the one to handle this, certainly 2HKOing, possibly OHKOing Seed with Reginlef. Then, there's Seed's accuracy making him emo against Arnaud. The other Cids still suck.
Team Tide vs. Albert Simon, Alex, Albert Serdio - Eph doubles Simon and Alex can't deal with Garnet. This is so very ugly.
Team Tide vs. Sara (BoF1), Serra, PC Sarah (S3), Sarah (ShF1) - Throw Eph at any Sarah and let Garnet take care of the healing. This is weird, Team Tide's team is oddly solid.

Team Tonfa | Cloud, Chemist, Aika, FFX-2 Songstress
[Floor 7]
[Materia: Cover(M), Revive(M), All(M)-Barrier(M), All-Time(M), Destruct(M)]
*Please scale to endgame (i.e. whatever damage they do consider it against endgame damage) unless the people in question also have endgame forms, then use those.
Team Tonfa vs. Palom, Porom, Edward, Cid, Yang, FuSoYa -
Team Tonfa vs. PC Ghaleon, Laike, Tempest, Gwyn -
Team Tonfa vs. Gryz, Hahn, Demi, Kyra, Raja
*Full Heal
Team Tonfa vs. Squire Algus, Holy Knight Delita, Olan, Zalbag, Alma
Team Tonfa vs. PC Fou-Lu, PC Seymour, VP2 PC Brahms, VP2 PC Lezard, PC Teepo, PC Asch, General Leo - This... is utterly bizarre. All the fights feel like they should intuitively hand Tonfa his ass, but they don't. FF4 temps get their ass handed by Aika/Dancer and statusblockers, Lunar temps eat Finishing Touch if they go all-out on offense and just die a horrible ID-y death if they go defense. PS4 temps eat ID and Delta Shield, FFT temps end up being Alma solo and that's not ending out well for them. And... wow, the accumulated boss temps are so ST physical-slanted that they're not getting past Cloud's limits, the only one who could have a hope of doing so having to kill Dancer or getting everybody killed on the spot. What the hell. Tonfa, you freaking whore.

Tonfa dies horribly to the FF4 fight. Yang Sleeps Aika (This overrides auto actions in FF4), Edward charms Songstress, ,and the team dies as soon as the twins get a turn to cause pain.  his team's completely outgunned here.

Tenative pass to team Tranquil, pending a look at the boss.  Tenative fail to team tide, I don't think they can blitz Kary effectively enough.

How does either Yang or Edward manage to physical Aika or Songstress with a mastered Cover materia floating around?

You... uh... maybe if Kick also applies the Sleep? It -is- MT. But if it does, then that fight needs to be immediately ganked out from the floor. Accurate MT sleep off endgame Yang speed is just freaking stupid.

Then Yang puts Cloud out first and you're back to the same problem (Cloud can't block all the statuses at once.) I did miss that though.

Cloud blocks Sleep, then. Confuse eats Delta Shield or weakened Cloud physicals, which isn't doing much of anything, then Chemist unconfuses Cloud. By now, Dancer already acted and the enemy's screwed.

EDIT: Clarifying: Confused Cloud can cast spells! That will be eaten by Delta Shield. And his below full HP physicals ain't scaring anyone. Yang+Lamia Hard Edward physicals ain't triggering a limit, either, and Edward Singing on Dancer has a 66% chance of being useless, since she's going to block one of the statuses that matter as well.

Hypothetical situation.

Edward confuses Cloud with his Lamia Harp or whatever. Yang puts Songstress to sleep (In addition to doing damage, or does she block sleep? I have no idea.) Does Yang have any other claw options? Anyway, assuming this is the case, Chemist needs to wake up Songstress or unconfuse Cloud. We'll say he wakes up Songstress. Now, the question becomes whether or not she gets her turn immediately. If not, Yang or Edward restatus her and things get a bit ugly, correct?

She blocks Sleep, according to Tonfa, and Yang's other status option isn't legal considering endgame. That puts a wrench into things. To make things worse, I believe Confuse (which is also Yang's other theoretical status option) doesn't disable Covering.

It should be noted that Edward actually has a 33% chance of doing nothing, since Silence stops Dancing (according to the topic) and Charm would be just as bad. But if things are as you say then it doesn't matter, but hey, I don't get to vote on things.

Team Tranquil - Tenative pass.  Apparently Beatrix's damage gets scaled to endgame, making things a lot easier.

Team Tide - Looking at stuff... it doesn't look like Simon is capable of much, and since he's the largest unknown factor to me... pass.

Team Tonfa - Not sure if Cloud can survive the boss room long enough to get a limit off.  Tenative fail, open to arguments.

Team Tranquil makes it. Double Tentacle focused against Yuri should kill; Pity a easily forgotten quirk of that move is that Ultros will always MT one of the Tentacles. I think he can barely take that.

(I...can't see this possibly having a DL application of any real kind, all things considered. Here, though, I'm inclined to give the benefit due to that quirk. Due to the nature, I'm probably harsher on AI here than normal, as usual.)

Team Tide....falls, yeah. My fiend respect was, I thought, rock bottom for fiend respect that actually represents reality... but I'm still struggling to see how he makes it out of the Kary fight without getting his revivers crunched up, they're simply too frail. Since Duran's healing isn't MT yet, I believe...yeah, it's just not working for me. Open to arguments, since got knows as a kneejerk I hate hyping Kary. (And I don't know why. >_>)

Edit: Team Tide passes, see below.

Team Tonfa... ...

Oh hell, I think Songstress mostly frigging nukes the floor.

This is wrong, my head hurts. FF4 Mages are below average speed, silenced, fight's pretty easy, albiet loooong, from there.

Lunar, sleep or stop, only Ghaleon goes before and Cover/Delta Shield exist so...

PS4 team...no, Delta Shield really has no good argument to have Tandle break through it on ponderance, so sleep/stop go through, easy from there.

FFTeam, Cloud knocks off Olan and Delta Shield and now sure, people can die, but actually getting past Cloud+Chemist is going to be nigh-impossible. It takes years, but I think they win.

And the final horde gets....mostly screwed by what Jo'ou said. Fou-Lu's pretty dangerous, since he immunes status, but he just...can't do enough damage to get past Aika healing+Chemist healing+Barrier and a limit coming up blows off all the scrubs. Add Songstress also disabling all the scrubs or using Haste, and...it's a pretty hard battle to gauge accurately, but I think he makes it?

This hurts head. ._. God damnit there were more status immune enemies at FFX-2 endgame than here! ._.

Pass to Tonfa.

Think about Tide later.

Not sure if it matters but Eiko potentially has Phoenix by this point. If you see her having picked up a Phoenix Pinion since the last floor ;p, or Phoenix Pinions being available in the inventory before she joins?

Well. At that point, Eph should be promoted, and he gets Sigmund upon promotion, as well as +1 Move. If this helps, he gets the drop against Kary, too, and his evade should let him avoid one turn of her status, he shouldn't get OHKOed (and hell. Arnaud casting Illusion on Kary would make her damage absolutely suck, since she can't hit her physical ever again, and Garnet walls Fire too) and you could, uh, hype Sigmund against Kary, since she's a monster!? I dunno, but feels like Kary just can't deal with a full party too well. I guess this makes the other team members -matter- or something, but they have issues damaging Garnet due to FF9 elemental bullshit, and I -think- you could see the second promotion for Duran as floor 5? Dunno if I do myself, but I think they'd take two turns at worst to kill Kary, and the other team members have issues dealing with Eph of all things.

Err... as for Team Tonfa, I'm not sure yet.

EDIT: Hmm... I don't think I see Tonfa passing anymore. No pass.

Dunno if I do myself, but I think they'd take two turns at worst to kill Kary, and the other team members have issues dealing with Eph of all things.

...I...hadn't thought of him relative to the time(Forgot that there was a point besides early on where he was relatively better than normal.). That's a good point.

Ehhhh, switching mine to a pass to Tide, then. That was already close to me.

Team Tranquil handles the floor without much trouble.

Team Tide... fails. My fiend respect is pretty high and his healers aren't at their best yet.

Team Tonfa. Whew. I'm impressed. Songstress is better than I thought, and Aika's Delta Shield + Cloud Cover pretty much solves the team's defensive worries. This is a really amazing strategy and I think it manages to handle even -this- floor.
