I can't see how that would work for a full fledged game...

Little internet flash game, maybe. Full game? How is that even possible? It can't have much replay value/any value if the game's only 30 seconds long :S

Star Ocean 4 is well on it's way now and info, trailers and images have been appearing like crazy. The above links to a trailer showing some Edge/Reimi footage in battle. There's some Faize cutscene footage as well.

I've seen some other battle footage of Reimi as well and I must say she looks pretty bad ass for a SO female. I have high hopes for her hope she does turn out to be that good. She reminds me more of Maria than Sophia with the whole shoot energy blasts things only she uses a bow instead of Maria's gun

Also kicking like Mirage and jumping like Fayt wut.

There appears to be 4 different modes here. As Niu mentioned, they are <name> 30.

The titular mode, Hero 30, is basically... Well. You have to beat the big bad in 30 seconds. This includes going out, levelling up and such. Yeah, you gotta do it in 30 seconds.

There is an RTS segment under Demon King 30, a shmup segment under Queen 30, and an Action segment under Knight 30. So far, there appears to be more info on Hero 30.

I care, the best installment of the series gets a remake along with a huge volume up in plot? Hell YES. I mean.. GOD FUCKING YEEEEESS!!! And it'll be totally godlike if they make Carmine not silent this time.

Mmmmmm Persona 1 remake. Finally a return to the early interesting concepts for the series where it fully explores Jungian archetypes within the characters in a situation that feels frantic. (Persona 3 is pretty clearly about Jungian Archetypes but is far less involved that it is in say P1 and 2).

Tales of versus on PSP, ti is Tales version of Dissidia.

Tales of Versus is something I expected to exist a long time ago, mostly cause the battle system, general Tales fandom, the amount of cross overs, etc. they've done, you'd THINK a "Tales Fighting Game" would be an obvious thing to do.

...you'd also think one of them would appear in a Soul Calibur game, but...well, Lloyd was in SC Legends but <_<

There are a bunch of fanmade Tales fighters of highly variable quality. Some are awful, some are alright.

Glad to see the Tales news wasn't April Fool's lololol at least, ToVS could be interesting if they do it right. ToG uhhhh we don't really know anything yet so >_>;

Tales of Dissidia might sucker me in, if they do it right. I'm not gonna get bonkers about it the way I was with real Dissidia (hey, I've been picturing a game like that since I was like 12, what do YOU think was gonna happen?), but I'm definitely intrigued, and not in a "How much of a train wreck can this game be?" like Deathnotevania, mostly cause there are characters I care about (if nothing else, Yuri and Luke are two characters I like; there are a few obvious shoe-ins to expect, both good and bad *eyes Leon*), and really, you just need to tweak Tales combat to adjust it to a proper balanced fighting game, so its really just a logical extension.

...yeah, I'm rambling, but Tales of Smash is intriguing enough to make me actually wanna pay attention to updates on it in this topic!
