Yo all. There was talk had at DLC3 about having a mini-meet at my house (the location of DLC1) sometime near the end of the year. We're moving to Florida, so I figured it'd be a nice sendoff for the old house. After talking it over with the folks, they've approved the idea. So now it's just who can come.

Thing is, one of the conditions is a limit on the amount of people. It won't even be as many as DLC1. I've been given a limit of 8, including myself, so really 7. POSSIBLY 10 (including me as well) as long as the extra people aren't sleeping here, but we'll call it 8 for now. This doesn't mean people sleeping at the house, this means people total.

So whats this mean? Don't want to be exclusive or anything if people want to come, but it'll mean first come first served. This doesn't an "I'm interested" first come first served. It's a "I'm coming, I got the days off, I've got my travel arrangements, etc."

The tentative date is around the weekend of the 14th in November. It'll be three days, guaranteed, but if starting on Thursday or Friday helps people, it'll shift between them. Also open to moving the date if enough people request it, but it'll be in the first half of November (since the second half is Thanksgiving).

As for activities... mini-DLCon I'm guessing. Gaming, of both console and tabletop variety. Bowling would probably be on the menu. Plenty of stuff around. Once the group is decided we can plan in more detail.

Definitely interested. The same format as the minimeet last year (Meet up thursday, split up sunday morning) seems best offhand. Date should be fine with me.

If someone can get me the rest of the way from the nearest mass transit, I can probably swing at least part of it. I work Fridays now, though, so I may come Friday evening.

It's not that tough. The nearest bus station to my house is less than 5 minutes away. It's the NJ Transit 197. You could either head to Wayne and catch it at Willowbrook Mall or head into the Port Authority and take it in. The 196 Express also goes directly to my town and takes about 45 minutes on weekdays from 3-7.

Hmm. I'll definitely think about it, considering how close I'll soon be to New Jersey. Only a tentative yes until I've got a job and a more solid life schedule figure out, but... a tentative yes all the same.

Depending on when he comes in, if he goes to Willowbrook, I might as well just take him from there; yeah, a bit out of the way (opposite side of Route 23 and all), but not TOO much of a hassle.

Tenative yes. If there are too many people, I can commute. probably would even be able to house a couple folks, but don't count on that for the time being.

With the amount of people in the cap, it shouldn't be very hard at all to fit everyone. Heck, we cleaned the house since the last time you guys were here. The other half of the couch is actually open!

If I do end up coming, can I get a vague idea of how many other atendees would be down for me bringing my copies of the Game of Thrones/Storm of Swords board games? If there's enough people interested (and acquainted with the rules, to save time; the PDF rulebook's online) I might do that, or even spend a few bucks on the 6-player expansion.

I couldn't get time off work most likely (even though I want to quit so bad most days) and... twice in a year is a bit excessive. I would love to and the reality is actually shocking in that I could probably even do it with my Tax return, but I have to say no. It is time I actually put money towards something that lasts me.

I would love to come, and I should be able to if I make a pull for it now. The unfortunate part is I wouldn't be able to make it until the 15th, since I have a seminar presentation on Friday I kind of can't miss >_> I'd be able to drive, at least!

I'd just like to echo the 'Strago is a scrub' line. That is all. (Does anyone coming have Apples to Apples?) Probably going to be driving up there as well, at least partway. Want to do a carpool. Shale'd be perfect if he's still in Milford by then. Pyro doesn't want to go and I doubt Cid does either.
