It's the playoffs, so FUCK analysis, it's time for Fanboy mode.

The Magic are going to DESTROY Boston.

If by 'destroy' you mean 'lose to in 4.'  Bitch.

Rocky: I don't think that's very funny...
Bullwinkle: Neither do they, apparently!

Turk and Lewis not exactly been 100%.  Magic have done okay without Nelson, but they need their other Big 3 to stay healthy to beat the Celtics and have a chance vs Cleveland.

NBA.com informs me that Cleveland won 39 of their home games this year. That's ludicrous.

yeah, they probably could have won 40 if they hadn't sat Mr. James for the last game of the season.

Yeah. It's like, the fanboy in me wants to see Orlando win, but the part of me that has any sense of logic and reason knows damn well this is Cleveland's year.

Portland's got a better shot at reaching the finals than Boston does. Suck it.

Hope that game 1 of Hawks/Heat ends go interesting, as my dad's bought two tickets for it.

Boston isn't even going to make it out of the 1st round! Bwa hahahahaha

Even if the Heat beat the hawks that only means they have to play King James and his gang in the second. ; ;

Initially, I want the Heat to advance all the way, but the Magic get to wait all the way to the Eastern Conference finals before having to play the cavs. I think they have the best chance of pulling the upset.

In the West, it's the Lakers to beat.

Well, so much for that!

Epic stinker by the Heat tonight. Wade'll have better games, I'm sure, but the rest of Miami I'm not sure about. A mannequin would've played better than Jermaine O'neal did tonight. In fact, he was so bad it retroactively made my opinion of last season's Shaq trade worse.

Hawks looked really good for quarters 2 and 3, then did basically nothing for the fourth but it didn't matter because Miami was somehow worse. With Boston and Orlando both losing game 1 they might be in the conversation for second best Eastern team in the playoffs (gulp).

Yeah injuries came at a bad time for Orlando and Boston.  Everyone talked about Lakers having a free ride to the finals... but it's really looking like that free ride goes to the Cavs.  Stern is a happy happy man.  He will get his Lebron vs Kobe finals.

NBA TV apparently gets the Sixers/Magic series, which was shaping up to be one of the better ones in the first round. Damn it.

In more AWESOME news:
Ricky Rubio announced his decision to declare for the 2009 NBA Draft.

Dikembe Mutombo's career is apparently over after that knee injury. It's probably more surprising to most people that he wasn't retired already, but still a damn shame.

It is a shame, but I can't say I didn't see it coming.

Deke needs to go into asst. coaching. He could give a generation of kids a level of grit they might not otherwise have.
