Godlike:
1. Jade (BoF1) - Zap.
2. Genevieve (VP1) - Boom.
3. Lenneth Valkyrie (VPs) - Just scary. That level of skillset with the damage and durability and equips... yeah.
4. Valvalis (FF4) - Big gap here. Just strong respect for Val's spoiling goodness, since I allow her evade on both physicals and magic.
5. Xenobia (Lunar:SSSC) - I guess. Were Royce here, she'd probably go above Val.
6. Yuri Volte Hyuga (SHs) - Not as much respect for Yuri as most. He's very good, but his big money is too damned expensive and his resources are too horrible. Durability and statusblockers and versatility, though. Hard to ignore the overall good stat strength.
7. Gilbert (SH3) - Boom, with less durability and focused long-term slugging.
8. Ted (S4) - Boom, only on a frail PC.
9. Killer (SH3) - Hm. The PC-killing is vicious. The HP sorta sucks still, but his slugfesting and tricks work out.
10. Luca Blight (S2) - Just slugs. Not that durable or fast, and easily spoiled.
11. Varin Omega (DDS) - Slugs more poorly than Luca. HUNGER WAVE can die in the same ditch as PS2 Dark Force status hype can.
12. Melfice (G2) - Sorta haphazard. His tricks and raw slugging power all amount to Heavy-bait, but he has evade and speed! Gets him up to Godlike, I guess.
13. KOS-MOS (XSs) - More of a high Heavy.
Heavy:
1. Ultros (FF6) - I allow Lete River Ultros. Instant top of the pool right there.
2. Scias (BoF4) - While Demi -does- beat Scias, his overall package is more impressive. Status, speed, 2HKO damage, healing, status resistances... he was in Godlike for a reason, and he does way too well in Heavy.
3. Groudon (PKMN) - Buff smash off awesome resistances and durability and good speed! Yay!
4. Demi (PS4) - Love that healing game. Similar to Nina, trading speed, off-the-bat magical durability and even more comprehensive immunities for ITE above average damage and physical durability. Fairly even trade, all in all.
5. Surt (VP1) - More buff-smash! Weaker than Groudon due to easier wallability and lower speed, methinks.
6. Gau (FF6) - The stalling strategy just works so well off the durability. Unreliable, but tends to live long enough to make things happen.
7. Red (Saga) - Another guy who gets by through the buff-smash (of sorts) strategy. Hurts that he doesn't OHKO like Surt and Groudon do, though, and his damage isn't that less wallable. Also, Red before turning into Alkaiser sorta fails, so stalling before going Alkaiser sorta... doesn't work, much like it happens with Ryu.
8. Tana (FE8) - Evade spoiling+offense is wonderful.
9. Articuno (PKMN) - More wallable, more weaknesses... still a very good slugfester with a buffing option. This pool is full of champ-powered Heavies, honestly.
10. Ryu (BoF1) - Hm. The physical tanking is great, the magical tanking and ID vulnerability don't help, though. Still a good Heavy.
11. Kevin (SD3) - I guess. Solid slugfesting and healing.
12. Jack van Burace (WA1) - Generally less solid. Jack is just a status slinger in Heavy: his damage and healing don't really pan out.
13. Albel Nox (SO3) - And here is our loser. Draining is nice, but doesn't get you past Low Heavy when you apply pressure like Yulie.
Middle:
1. Nash Rumack (Lunar:SSSC) - Heavy-level status whore. He gets reamed by people he's forced to slugfest, but his status variety and accuracy off the speed beats a few Godlike PCs, let alone Middle.
2. Killey (Suikos) - Hey, it's Nelis trading a slight bit of damage, some spoiling and a bunch of physical durability for a lot more speed! This isn't quite a losing trade.
3. Alhazad (WA1) - Slow and bad HP, but... awesome defenses, 2HKOs, and Sleep+Slow Down isn't a bad combo. He's Bowyer +, and Bowyer is pretty strong.
4. Valter (FE8) - Hm, yeah. Frail, but tends to be brutal against people who let him get a turn, and he absolutely shreds the sluggish.
5. Marle (CT) - Hm. Yeah, I guess she's just too sold once she gets a turn. Haste is still excellent, and the spoiling game with MDef from hell and status immunity is solid. She also tends to win matches in effectively few turns, since Stop is death and Confuse mitigates the horrible physical durability until she can Haste/heal back to safety.
6. Venusaur (PKMN) - Yeah, he's... overall a fair deal weaker than Nash, being more spoilable and slower. But he's also a solid slugger.
7. Mog (FF6) - Niiiiiiiice. Too bad about the awful status vulnerability and taking so long to get his good stuff.
8. Max (SF1) - Tanky 2HKOer. Too bad it's of the evadable variety, and he hasn't got much otherwise. ShF2 Max isn't very different either, wohoo two shots of 2HKO magic and quite possibly not 2HKOing with his physical, giving him resource issues?
9. Judecca (WA2) - The inaccuracy on his damage sorta dooms him to be lower. Oh well.
10. Slade (SF2) - I guess he's not much different from Max. Just frailer.
11. Nanaki (FF7) - He's... solid, I guess.
12. Nikea (S5) - The damage and equips are nice! Just eeeeeeeeeeeeeew speed.
13. Kashell (VP1) - Just slugs. Well, he does have durability and some equips.
14. Sophia Esteed (SO3) - Hard to peg. Assuming Blood Scylla is all she's got alongside SO3 equips, but that's not bad. Granted, not too good.
15. Eiko Carol (FF9) - Yay equips and not much else. Eiko isn't that strong.
16. Harley (DDS) - DDS1 Harley? Is closer to Light.
Light (no explanations for you, too lazy):
1. Landis (S3)
2. Slash (CT)
3. Fargo (CC)
4. Mallow (SMRPG)
5. Vinsfeld Rhadamanthus (WA2)
6. Bernadette (S5)
7. Lowen (FE7)
8. Meg (Suikos)
9. Chisato Madision (SO2)
10. Nei (S3)
11. Red Wizard (FF1)
