Right, I'm back, but not around yet. Hopefully no more than an hour to sort my stuff out before dedicating to here.

Tin-man: basically the only thing stopping me from putting a vote down immediately for all of that is that I want to get more of my opinions out before the end of this day. You may go to sleep knowing that my vote will reach him before the deadline, and if there's any concern at all then at the very worst I can't imagine Miss Excel not changing her vote over as well.

*wakes up horribly early* uughhhhh.

Any reservations I might've had pretty much evaporated when less than 12 minutes after my post pointing out Ash's rulebreaking to boost Team Scum's chances he turned out to have been here all along.
Point taken.

1 hour left or something? Decision time soon. I need a cuppa first.

Hmm well I guess I'll wait for that then. Looks like I'll be forced to vote Ash in any case. *yawn*

So Ash, not that it probably matters, but anything to say about being at 'school' for 25 hours?

I'm bored so I'm going to motormouth.

Miyagi and Khan could have quickhammered and won by now, so they're obviously not a scumteam. That's confirmed.
Same goes for me and Miyagi, and me and Khan.
Any of these people could be on a team with Ash, Dude or Crow.
Ash/Dude is extremely unlikely, Ash/Crow is relatively unlikely. Same goes for Ash/Khan.

Ash/Miyagi is looking possible.

Ash hasn't bothered to say... anything. At all. Apart from a single post to avoid being modkilled. That's almost enough to lynch him on pure meta.

*gets bored waiting*
For the record, I've known only half of the characters. I knew Miyagi, Ned Flanders, Death and Queen... and obviously Excel. Is Khan that guy they yell about in Star Trek?

Well that took far too long. I probably won't get through everything, but I'll do as much as I can. I'll post periodically, but let's call it quarter of an hour before the deadline to push it through.

Miss Excel: I can't see any way of stopping this from working, but just to be on the safe side remove your vote from Mr. Miyagi now.

Expect this to be erratic.

I don't get Mr. Miyagi's line of inquiry today. After starting by claiming Mr. Ash / "The Dude" as primary interest pair, this swings into a line of attack on "The Dude" with Miss Excel as his partner, and then drops half of that to go full out on Miss Excel. I'm scanning desperately quickly here, but is there much of an actual attack made on Mr. Ash at any point (who of course at this point we have to basically assume is one of the traitors)?

So at least one Townie could see reason with me and fail to see what is suspicious about me. Take that in what sense thou wilt.

Isn't a defense, right?

I don't like any argument that involves innocents lying. Even a cop who's scanned dead people should be using that in their defense. Sure it's going to be circumstantially weak, but still strictly better than the huge negative rep you immediately get for claiming later and admitting to lying. Had she not espoused this wisdom herself, I would have done the young Miss Excel injustice by saying that she's actually the only one I'd even begin to believe might think it would be a good idea.

Given how much I flopped about in the first sudden death, it doesn't seem like much of a stretch to jump in and start a case on me (Mr. Ash bought it, but, uhh...), especially when it bought another large chunk of time for him.

Obviously, don't think I don't see the case on Miss Excel. I do, and did even lead it off, but I have backed off somewhat.

Edit: Miss Excel, I'm still here, checking for updates like every few minutes. I worry only that with three votes he may self-hammer. If you have to go then do it, else I'd rather try and squeeze a little more out.

Still Mr. Miyagi stuff, which is most relevant to me.

'Gutjerk feeling' to Mr. Ash / Miss Excel without ties? I don't inherently disagree with having two traitors down without understanding the connection between them (as you could point to my now primary case of Mr. Ash / Mr. Miyagi despite my as yet unresolved issue with pairing them up). Looks like another instance of implying suspicion of Mr. Ash without actually putting him in further trouble. If there is a post on Mr. Ash I apologize for missing it, because it really should read as though there is one. Even then, softly softly and putting the priority of getting Miss Excel out of the way.

Again, by http://www.rpgdl.com/forums/index.php?topic=2205.msg38544#msg38544 (I should be quoting posts more directly, but I hope it's obvious where it's all coming from - it's mostly linear) there's more on Miss Excel's frantic waving to her clear-all alibi as being weaker than she claims (justified and already covered), and on innocents lying (again unsettling).

Edit: Miss Excel, it's not like I'm going to finish anything, just trying to get through as much as I can. If you're worried, put it down with a few minutes to go and then there's no possible pair of people who can pull the rug from under us unless Mr. Ash is innocent, in which case we've lost anyway.

I'd say it was keeping around a bad player to help lose the game for the innocents if not much need to protect her any further at this point.

Just to address this (only now realized 'he' was 'me'), what exactly makes Excel a 'bad player' to you? The fact she hasn't really contributed? Feigned madness while keeping her balance? She's proven quite capable of formulating cases and arguments as per her discussion against you.

Cannot see this argument.

I quoted that as a justification for why you'd claim Mr. Ash / "The Dude" and yet spend your time connecting "The Dude" to Miss Excel. If you don't believe it yourself then you're just removing a line of justification for that in the first place.

And curses no, I'm out of time. I'm going to have to leave it there.

Final votecount:

Ash (4): The Dude, Crow T. Robot, Excel, Khan
Mr. Miyagi (0): Excel

---

Cornered, the man known as "Ash" threw up his hands and surrendered. "Alright, you got me. I'm one of them. But it was just circumstances, baby. I didn't have a choice. Just give me a chance to explain everything..." This approach confused his inquisitors for just a second, but it was enough for Ash to get started. "Come out come out, Virginia don't let me wait..."

Cue spotlight. Cue straw hat, and cane (and where did the stage come from?) Cue Bad Ash...singing Billy Joel.

"You might have heard I run with a dangerous crowd
We ain't too pretty we ain't too proud
We might be laughing a bit too loud
But that never hurt no one..."

He made it to the third verse ("They say there's a heaven for those who will wait / Some say it's better but I say it ain't. I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints / the Sinners are much more fun...") when the crowd's pent-up rage finally overtook their astonishment. They swarmed the stage, and there were no roadies to protect Ash from their wrath.

Righteous carnage ensued. Only the good die young, indeed.

Ash (Scum Rolecop) was lynched!

It is now night three. Please submit night actions if you have not done so already.

Crow T. Robot left them the next day. Apparently an unknown assailant had disabled the automaton overnight. He was still conscious and coherent when they found him in the morning and there was some discussion as to whether he could be repaired. Before anyone could put such a plan into action, however, a battered VW van--with rocket boosters stuck on the back--landed nearby. A gorilla and a dude carrying around his own brain in a dish for some reason picked up Crow and hustled him into the vehicle (amidst much frenzied yelling on Crow's part, to the effect that he was headed towards a fate worse than death), which then departed in a cloud of smoke.

And then there were...okay, four.

Crow T. Robot (Vanilla Townie) was killed overnight!

---

It is now day four. And still LYLO, of course. There are 48 hours remaining.

With four alive it takes three to lynch.

Goodbye Crow. /Minority Report

Ok well I'm still after Miyagi's blood.
Dude is pretty much cleared, since he picked Ash. Khan still looks decent.

Miyagi disappeared without even placing a vote yesterday, his arguments have been flailing and sucky.

I propose Miyagi lynch.

I really can't see anyone other than Miyagi as scum, except for a realllly unlikely Dude bus on Ash yesterday. But yeah, It's all on Miyagi.

Still, I'll wait for everyone else to 'weigh in'.

Did you know that you would weigh 84% less on the moon?

LOL @ today's headline. Nice one Cid.
