Team Shale | Shale: Rikku, Tidus, Millenia, Rand, Mint
[Floor 6b]
Rikku's Item List
Team Shale vs. Ghaleon - Think I can see Tidus speeding up the team enough to avoid getting hurt by Ghaleon too much... THINK they'll lose either Rand or Mint, or maybe both to Ghaleon but manage to defeat him before biting the dust entirely thanks to Rikku healing.
*Full heal
Team Shale vs. Fou-Lu - Fou-Lu will likely go down as well. I can see Team Shale pulling through here... as I find Ghaleon to be a bit more dangerous.
*Full heal
Team Shale vs. Myria3 - MT Heal with unsucky durability handles Myria3.
*Full heal
Team Shale vs. Sephiroth - See above.
*Full heal
Team Shale vs. Zophar - Zophar MT damage can't be kept up with and Shale dies. Willing to hear arguments otherwise.

Team Miasmacloud | Terra, VP2 Lenneth, Chemist, PC Seifer
[Floor 3b]
*All ST is MT
Team Miasmacloud vs. Eirika - Too much healing for Eirika to be effective.
Team Miasmacloud vs. FFT Time Mage, FFT Wizard and FFT Priest - Lenneth and Terra maul these guys.
Team Miasmacloud vs. Hellion and Luc - Luc dies to physicals, Hellion follows.
Team Miasmacloud vs. Augst and Alakazam - Alakazam is annoying, but I can see everyone pulling through this one. If they survive his first attack, Chemist heals up and the rest rush, Alakazam dies, then Lenneth heals and revives alongside Chemist while Terra burns Augst. Seifer makes out with the dead Alakazam.
Team Miasmacloud vs. Alma, Ramza and Pikachu - Pikachu paralyzes. Mfff. They survive Alma/Ramza attack, Chemist heals up, Lenneth undoes Paralyze, Terra either Heals if their damage is too great for Chemist alone or joins Seifer in attacking. Rinse and repeat until Pikachu falls, then knock out the other two.

Team Magic | Tir, Riou, Lilka, Lucia, Mint
[Floor 1]
Team Magic vs. Rufus and Reno - Tir and Riou double-team, rest watch in awe.
Team Magic vs. Shuckle, Fred (S3) and Cecil - See above.
Team Magic vs. Alice and FFT Priest - See above.
Team Magic vs. Solt, Peppor, Alenia, Zahhak and Miluda - DOUBLE HERO HYPE.
Team Magic vs. Lundgren, Zalmo1 and Graham Clay - Tenstars, man, TEN STARS.

Team Shale | Shale: Rikku, Tidus, Millenia, Rand, Mint
[Floor 6b]
Rikku's Item List
Team Shale vs. Ghaleon - I don't allow Double Fate Storm. Arguably doesn't matter too much, Hastega makes a blitz a feasible strategy and Ghaleon can't really halt it well enough.
*Full heal
Team Shale vs. Fou-Lu - Hastega.
*Full heal
Team Shale vs. Myria3
*Full heal
Team Shale vs. Sephiroth - Inclined to say this works.
*Full heal
Team Shale vs. Zophar - Need to consider my Zophar views. Rand is gonna survive anything Zophar does outside of a Fate Storm, though, and Mint should do alright as well since it's magic. Status is the main concern here, but... mmm. The main thing here is they may be able to get Rikku an Overdrive on Myria3, and save it to here. The buff skill would seal it, I think?

EDIT: Rikku saves her Overdrive, forcing Zophar into a lock. He either tries to status people out quickly, but he needs to nail Rikku/Rand/Mint to handle that, or he goes for damage and can't do it fast enough. Tidus/Millenia break him down from there.

Team Miasmacloud | Terra, VP2 Lenneth, Chemist, PC Seifer
[Floor 3b]
*All ST is MT
Team Miasmacloud vs. Eirika
Team Miasmacloud vs. FFT Time Mage, FFT Wizard and FFT Priest
Team Miasmacloud vs. Hellion and Luc
Team Miasmacloud vs. Augst and Alakazam
Team Miasmacloud vs. Alma, Ramza and Pikachu - Terra is nasty on this floor, and VP2 Lenneth is quite good support.

Team Magic | Tir, Riou, Lilka, Lucia, Mint
[Floor 1]
Team Magic vs. Rufus and Reno
Team Magic vs. Shuckle, Fred (S3) and Cecil
Team Magic vs. Alice and FFT Priest
Team Magic vs. Solt, Peppor, Alenia, Zahhak and Miluda
Team Magic vs. Lundgren, Zalmo1 and Graham Clay - Lilka on floor 1. The buffing game is more than any group here can take on. Also Tir/Riou combo I guess?

Just a quick check - full heal is 100% HP cure, or a full on stay-at-an-inn restoration?

Yaaaaay.

Team Me vs. Floor 6
Initiative Hasteaga, Spellbinding Eye. Repeat as necessary, draining Millenia's SP as much as it takes every fight. Sephiroth and Zophar's hands might get turns. (NB: SBE freezes all parts of a multipart boss when used on the main part, and can be reapplied. Hence, Zophar is screwed.)

Mia crushes floor 3 with ease, and Double Leader Attack does horrible horrible things to floor 1.

Spellbinding Eye working on bosses is hax. Yep.

With that and Mint/Rikku's healing resources and Tidus and Rikku having an argument for Deathproof in the dungeon this floor Shale mocks~

...Right, I constantly forget that SBE hits G2 bosses. I'm not sure how I treat that, frankly, but... yeah, that definitely helps. Then again, my way, I'm not sure you need it (but I don't give full acts to multipart bosses.)

Shale makes it - full heal every round means unlimited SBE = win.

Magic has Double Leader Attack vs. Floor 1. >>;;

Mia... not sure. How accurate was Pikachu's paralyze? Actually.. there's a lot of MT status on this floor and I don't think Mia's team is too protected against status? Abstain out of laziness to look it all up.

I'm just going to abstain on Shale due to not knowing WTF to do with SBE.  It just doesn't seem fair to allow a status to hit a boss that is totally status immune in-game, but then again it bypasses immunity in her game.  Either that or you could consider all bosses in that game to be vulnerable to it.  I don't know, not dealing with it.

Magic... yeah, floor one, not completely inept, passes.

Mia... uh, which Luc?  S2 is worthless here, really, but S1 Luc has Sleep and S3 Luc has essentially perfect ID, and S1 Luc at least is very fast.  I think the S3 version is too but I'd have to look, the speed in that game's a bit different.  Also have to check exactly how S1 sleep works.  Still, either status has the potential to ruin her team here.  If they pass this, though, the rest isn't too hard.  Or I guess it could be S3 boss Luc too, but I laugh at that for the most part. >_>

Wait, why does Magic have Double Leader Attack? Tir's from S1, and as far as I know, dungeon characters do have to be locked into a game (hence Yuri1 and Yuri2), S2 is not listed as an option and not marked specifically for Magic even if it were. (Not to mention he wouldn't want it, given how much Double Leader falls off on damage late and Tir2 is boned on spell charges/element halving/SPEED, and I can't see damage making up for that.) Past that, I don't really kneejerk giving S1 Tir a unite with S2 Riou just because S2 Tir has one, although I can see the argument.

If it confuses anyone further, it's worth noting that SBE even hits plot bosses.  The Melfice fight in Cyrum, which is immune to everything else in the game including the Cancel effect (Although!  I've never tested him against stat downs), is still subject to SBE.

Pass to all three.  Those full heals keep Shale's team trucking, Lenneth's healing being full MT at all times trivializes Mia's fights, and Magic's team doesn't seem to be bait to Floor 1.

Personally, I'm very lenient on what Team effects work in the dungeon because so few team aspects from various games ever get a chance to be used on this site in general.

For reference, since I'm considering Double Leader Attack to essentially be an intrinsic property of Riou, I allow him to use the ability on his turn by taking S1 Tir's.

In a hypothetical example, if BoF characters had Team Attacks and one of them was ranked for the Dungeon, I would allow them to activate the team attack with any form of Deis of their choosing (including Ershin!).

This is mostly done due to the fact that team effects are hard to implement in the first place, due to so many different game systems and wondering whether or not team effects are intrinsic to the game system, the character, or the skill is hard to decide. So I'm lenient to them overall as a result because the Dungeon's purpose is to have a chance to implement team strategies.

I can certainly see the other side of it, though.

I can see having issues with SBE but I don't think he needs it, personally, due to Initiative Hastega + completely blitz the enemies. Most of the opponents (Zophar, Ghaleon) who could feasibly mess him up are -slow-, Zophar hand stuff aside. They can't take a prolonged blitz by the team, and there's no real reason for them to not go all-out each round.

I may be overrating Millenia a bit here? Still, Tidus at this point picks up Quick Hit to me (yes, I consider endgame a bit outside everyone's end spheregrids, personally) which causes much pain, and Rikku helps out. Hell, Rand gets a turn against Zophar for another hit in. >_>

But whatever, I can definitely see abstains.

Team Shale vs. Sephiroth- My gut instinct tells me Shale dies here. Super nova before tidus can get everyone ticking means the team is screwed as they are turned to little stoned frogs. If anyone survives they are still messed up enough to not to do anything.
EDIT: Crap I forgot about sonic steel. That may just change things hugely in shales favor. I remember Sephy being somewhat fast or his first turn at least being fast (Wall is usually cast near instantly as far as I can tell). Just needs to get a turn before Millenia to me.

Even if she doesn't go first Rikku just needs to save up a Mix for the first turn - cook up a Panacea and Millenia's hale and hearty again. If he goes for MT status with Supernova, its only status that would stop an Overdrive is Confuse, which is 50% and gets halved again by storebought Confuseward armor, never mind that it would also have to nail both Rand and Mint to stop all the status healing.

SuperNova also casts silence and more importantly slow. If the threat of Millenia is taken away then status healing doesn't matter. Against a slowed party sephy will get another turn and deen will kill them all. If some survive then they are still possible Slowed, confused and silenced. I can't see the team win from there.

I never said it doesn't. She just never gets to use it because her first turn is before sephy. After supernova she could be confused (Hence no mix) or slowed which means sephy gets his second turn before her.

So Tidus doesn't Haste Rikku with his initiative action, delaying her first turn until after Seph's. She's quick enough that she'd be very close to getting a turn by the time Seph goes, so he wouldn't insta-double if slow connects, and confuse is only 25% because of Confuseward.
