See, the trick here was to try and change the "players start with 0 points" rule first so you get the instant win with the help of the Mobb. But that won't happen now that the 80% majority rule is in effect.

At this juncture in time I think it would be fairer to compensate Rat with some points as well so he can catch up with the rest of the players (maybe below what the lowest point-scorer has, but just some) and has an actual chance at winning.

My interest here would be to actually give Rat a sporting chance, instead of adding him to the game and forcing him to go against the odds.

//Edit: Yes, aware you guys said this earlier, but I think it should be lower than the current players have to not unduly disadvantage one of the existing players. Also, voicing support for a measure where he gains some points on joining.

I'd honestly just average all the scores of the players and give, say, about 70% of the average score to the Rodent for headstart purposes. Dunno how balanced that is, though, but I'd rather have the initial score solution more elegant than Hatbot shenanigans.
