We wanted a nokill night 4 to try and make whoever Kilga roleblocked (if he used it then) to look scummy, so we could get a two-for-one.

Sadly, we considered me to be one of the more likely targets, and so decided to kill Corwin.

God, I wonder if we'd EVER piece together what happened on night 4. That's exactly what I thought Strago and I did to Trips, when he was really just a slow-cop.

And the deliberate fishy role manages to somehow land on Sopko, who had the infamous Worker 8 claim? That's just being cold-decked.

EvilTom, I will say this on behalf of the scum. We feared you living past day 1 and actually paying attention to us for a decent length of time. Thus our commentary.

It's easy to get railroaded, but learning how to avoid it is one of the best things you can do. It's why town must put -some- emphasis on how they appear; leaving openings for a scum attack is a bad thing to do as town.

Regarding my own commentary: My gut told me to go after CK, not trust Otter, and investigate Fnorder. My head told me that Tai's casual, inactive defense of Fnorder was a scum tell. Guess what I still won't be trusting come next game!

By the way, I feel the need to commend Excal on how he played Godfather. Scummy enough to bait cops into wasting an investigation, not scummy enough to make us think hard about the what-if. Had me totally fooled.

I was honestly convinced that Excal was the Godfather, when I voted for him. Duck Man Godfather was just too perversely perfect, somehow, not to be true. A terrible reason to be sure of scum, granted, but at least it was accurate!
