Back to Blue Dragon today, thinking of complimenting Jiro's White Magic with the Support Class?

Support is better for Black mages as it eventually nabs you Dual-Cast.

1st-run Ethereal Queen is pretty reliant on Astral Maze nonsense to get anything done.

BUTBUTBUT SHE HAS A MIGHTY PHYSICAL THAT 4HKOS 20K HP FREYA. And she never cast Astral Maze on me to boot. That was really pathetic, since I was even splitting my party in two in order to avoid full group hax. Oh well, I guess it's time to face frue Dirna. Should farm a few Stun Checks first, though.

I once had my entire party transferred by Astral Maze despite two people wearing Conquerer's Armour.

That sucked.

VP2 - First run of the Seraphic Gate: complete! Only ten more to go! Godlike Dirna was pretty cool: got four-rounded and had actual offense, not to mention the support is actually decent. Without a Fireproof Trinket, Meteor Swarm would've blown my party up, since it MT 2HKOed. OF COURSE, they realized I used the goddamned item, since they decided to spam Glacial Blizzard instead. Still easier on my HP than Explosion, though.

S5- In Yashuna, right before the Ceras Lake dungeon. Switched out Lelei for Shigure since he had two open rune slots. Boost + Power is HAHAHAHA GAME. Plus he starts at level 35. Overflowing with cash and skill points. The latter is kind of annoying, actually.

VP2 - Ethereal Queen:

Please learn to not suck. That damage was absolutely awful. Thanks for the 99 Sorcerer's Savvies, though!

Love, Snow.

P.S.: While you're at it, work on that durability thing. You could stand to take hits better.

This hurts me, consider what I am doing.

SO4 I.Queen is getting hard to cheese by Chaos mode, despite not unbeatable, it is not guaranteed victory either like in Galaxy mode. Now, with the fact that it takes a 5 hours trip to reach her every time... and she has stll has 2 more power up left at this point... so any comments about I.Queen needs to be stronger is UGH PAIN right now.

That said, Niu, just stop, don't play it, there is nothing extra it gives you.  Go play Torment.

Oh come now, games never give you anything but the enjoyment (hopefully) of having played them.  The player, not the game, should define whether playing more is a worthwhile experience.

It's more that I have tons of SP and can't raise anyone's level beyond C yet.

S5- The Ceres Lake ruins were... alright. Bosses were easier to handle than the randoms. The HATRED Fortress strat battle was neat. Otherwise, stopped when I got the totallynottheS1 fortress. I also like how it's taller than the lip of the lake used to be. Kyle decided to wander off and take my Flowing Rune. Asshole.

VP2 - Gabriel Celeste down - with a Direct Assault, to boot. Two Apocalypses, two sorcerers to release for tons of Sorcerer's Savvies. Yum, overkill offense. Hrist now sports a meager 5000 Int score~. Woden also down, but nobody cares about him.

It is pretty easy to tell which room the boss in the WD. They are only inside rooms with one exist and only one even number floor. And I.Queen only apart after 20th floor. So no, I didn't lose because she caught me in surprise. I loose because the "use Bacchus as a bait and spam Rush Combo" cheese aren't working as well as it should now.

So they did the Radiata Story bonus dungeon thing again?  Cool.  (Though I don't think that was I.Queen....).

No. WD is a randomly generated dungeon that gives you stupid task to complete each floor.
Easy one involve just beating a chain of battles. Annoy ones makes you break elemental crystals with Vanish Ring, which can run you out of gas if too many white crystal appears. And the worst would be collecting Geo Stones, because they fully reset when you use them and are uncommon drops from the monster. Sometime gathering enough Geo Stone to pass one floor can take a hour and a half in itself.

Basically, that dungeon is total bull shit.

Half-Life 3 Episodes 1&2Half-Life 2 Episodes 1&2: Finally got around to playing these. Ep. 1 had some argh-inducing sequences (elevator sequence--both of them, now that I think of it--and the parking garage antlion swarm). Ep. 2 was much better; big set-piece battles (antlion guardian+queen, hunter swarm, the finale) were still hard, but much more fun. Probably helps that I seem to prefer the outdoor areas in these games (Highway 17/Sandtraps = most fun part of HL2). I actually ran out of weapons that could efficiently kill the hunters during the big strider battle and just started ramming them with the car. It worked fairly well, actually. Also, I got to kill something with a garden gnome. Not enough games let you do this.

Much hate for the Combine zombies.
