That's brilliant.  Any more worthless information nobody gives a shit about?

This is a topic where we make blog about the video games we're playing at any given moment. We're well beyond the worthless-bullshit threshold.

Honestly, if you're just posting to say "I MAY PLAY THIS GAME", I think that goes beyond even the low standard we set for ourselves.

And here I saw it as an attempt to make a connection. A truly kind act. TranceHime was reaching out to Bardiche to let him know "You're not alone" - others have heard of this game, they've even considered playing it! "I, too, am one of those." A shining bedroom window light for the lonely traveller on a dark and unfamiliar road where it seems not another soul exists.

Of course, kindness isn't exactly a concept Zenny understands, so the obvious response is mockery for all parties involved.

Such is the natural order of things.

On topic: I MAY play Planescape: Torment.

Don't think of it as a novel. Think of it as a chance to retroactively win every argument you have ever walked away from.

Probably just a Colbert Home Rune, actually. That's furious dry-humping.

You know, you've said some damn stupid things in your time, and this is one of them.  Exactly how is this kindness?  Exactly why does Bardiche need his choice of games validated by Trance?  Why does he need "A shining bedroom window light for the lonely traveller on a dark and unfamiliar road where it seems not another soul exists."?  He doesn't.  He is playing a game.  He commented on playing a game.  There are no signs that he was lonely, or that he needed validation.  Shit, I knew popular culture could rot a mind but only the product of too much crappy Anime and crappy JRPGs could produce such a skewed, sentimental, useless view of the world.  Trance simply wanted to say something but didn't have anything relevant to say, so he said something stupid.  It's not like this is the first time.

Please.  I don't understand kindness.  Your perception of the world is so maligned that you mistake any instance of narcissism, any utterance of stupidity as a "truly kind act."  It's a wonder you're able to form any meaningful social relationships with such a sappy view of the world.

*insert generic Captain K. comment that inflames the argument even further*

Anyhoo, back to games:

BvS:  Recode is complete ass.  I've gone from loving this game to hating it in one week.

PWI:  Level 32.  The gang killed Qingzi for me last night.  They keep designing these areas where you're supposed to team up with other people.  It's like they expect you to have friends or something.  But hey, I soloed Kun Kun!

NCoNR2:  Got Ultimate Nine-Tailed Naruto, just need a couple more modes/stages to unlock.

You're supposed to solo Kun Kun. It's the only way to complete the quest. TONFA killed Kun Kun, and he had to do it with WIZARD PHYSICAL!<G> I think it was a 44HKO?

For the record, I appreciated Trance's message.

... and now I'll continue to describe to you how this game is like Suikoden. Except not.

Most of hte mages in this game suck. Since you gain Mp per turn and start at your base gain, (so if you gain 8 MP per turn, you start with 8 MP and on your first turn have 16 MP), and most low-level Mages don't get enough MP to actually cast a spell on their first turn... they're useless on low-levels.

Gee, let's have this mage idle for two turns since his physicals don't do shit while his Mp charges, so he can fire off a spell... and then charge again!

Made me rage because of how dire some of the bosses at the start were when you just HAD to have Ljusalf in your team ffffs.

Luckily I now have a GREAT MAGE, who actually has average speed (maybe even above average thanks to tanks being alien to the concept of speed) and can cast on his first turn!

Ten hours into the game. Still no end in sight. This sounds good.

Although no SF4 today is kind of sad, that's not to say nothing good happened today.

Tsukihime - Started last week, finished about an hour ago. I... even though I got disturbed at times, even though there were some horribly awkward to the point of humorous scenes[anyone who has played knows what I mean], I loved it. With an amazing cast[I managed to like every character by the end.], great storytelling, and a very consistant and well thought out setting, it truly delivered what I wanted from it and it some ways surpassed my expectations. I can't comment on details because I would hate to spoil the story for anyone, so I will just say this.

Play it.

God Hand - My friend took it back with him.  Now I don't have it to play it.  This makes me sad.

Rez - Beat stage 4.  This game is extremely fun, but one you have to take in small doses.

Disgaea - Just beat 5-2.  Got kinda addicted to item world...  And I got my first Rozalin Lover without even noticing.  Woo.  Now, I really have to ask if I calculated Lover bonuses right, or if I misunderstood what the FAQs were saying.

* President Bill Richardson looks back around 10 pages in this very topic.  Tries to come up with the last time he's said things that mind numbingly stupid without at least trying to back it up before throwing a hissy fit.  Fails.

Well, barring ad hominem attacks and calling Trance out on being a waste of bandwith.  I wouldn't call that stupid so much as curmudgeonly.

Now, I could go through ALL of your posts and pick out every little stupid thing you've said, but really, that is way too much trouble just to win a petty internet cock fight.

Now, onto the topic:

KoL:  Turtle Tamer with a 200 power shield that gives +50% Muscle at level 5 is sex.

GoW2:  Well, up to the Barbarian king.  What a cunt.  Almost able to beat him!  If I can get past the Giant stage then the last form isn't really that bad, I just make too many mistakes in trying to beat him.  Unfortunately, dying takes you back to the Giant stage once you get there, and I've only really been able to beat him twice.  No idea how to roll out of the way of one of his attacks.  Jumping over said attack doesn't really work either, and it can't be blocked.  Since this is Titan mode, he can't be stunned either.  That's not lame at all.  NOT LAME AT ALL.

Braid:  Played the first level of this over at a friend's house.  It is awesome as advertised.  Makes me wish I had an X-box.  I don't suppose this is going to come out for the Wii either.  Tch.  Oh well, I still have to buy MM9 before that anyway.
