Marth has the best recruitment method ever! He makes his ladies woe the enemy ito joning his cause, and it works...brilliant!

"Hi, I have boobs. Join my side now!"

"But, I've lived in this country for years...I coldn't just.....ah hell, look at them hooters! I'm in!"

More armies should try these tactics.

edit: It's like I am playing the FE game that was made 20 years ago. No, it's not like it, I AM playing the Fe game from 20 years ago. They could have done so much more with this game. Does Marth even get a promotion? He just hit level 21 which is super weird in a Fire Emblem game.

They also should have stuck with the old style portraits. these new ones look lame.

Playing FFXII. Right now I just passed the Leviathon, and now I'm hunting because I desperately need cash.

Marth never promotes but he gets stat caps at the promoted level.

Please, play the original after finishing this and then come back and say that.

Also have you even seen the original portraits.

DQV:  Wedding time!  Nera didn't really want to marry me, and Bianca has an annoying accent.  So I went with Debora!  Her snarky comments are hilarious (press B after talking to almost any NPC in the game).

PS4 - Huzzah, approaching endgame on the LLG. And beat it on my real file.

FF6 Eviltype - Started a replay of this! I had forgotten how badass Whelk was. Cute tricks. M-Tek Armours were scary too. I should do a front-row only replay of this and watch what happens~

WA:XF- Paused at 4-4 to upgrade some equipment. It was awesome watching Princess Katrina turn the tables on Edna. Rupert was a good fight, but he wishes he had Quicken in the DL. I missed the killing blow on him, his one remaining flunkie then Quickened him, and he did his field move and smoked my party. Other than that, from 4-1 to 4-3 is pretty easy.

TF2: Spent the night killing people with nothing but heavy fists. Awesome time.

Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic:: I started reading a webcomic and it gave me an urge to play a game like the one its centered around. Went on the forums and majority of people said this game was most like it, so I found a copy of it and started it up. Seems good so far, but I wish there were more upgrades and such for cities. Also, heroes looks should vary more, but I guess they want them uniform so players can tell right away when a hero led unit is coming for them.

Just got back from a fun trip round ol' Japan, and I stopped at the game centers in every major city. Played some SF4, fun. Chun Li for the sexy Lightning kick goodness.

Also stumbled across something called Tatsunoko VS. Capcom. ...I think it's called that anyway. Anyway, lots of Capcom favorites (Ryu, Morrigan, Rockman) and then some weird shit like Gatchaman?!

The third fighting that I threw my money into ended up being the most fun, though it has the most generic look to it. It's called BlueBlaze or BlazBlue or something and it's a 2D fighter that plays somewhere in between Marvel vs. Capcom and Guilty Gear. The controls were REALLY tight and it was a fast-paced bit of fun. It took all of the things I liked about 2D fighters and cut out the bullshit. Character designs were really pretty, too.

Of course, DDR, Pop'N Music, Taiko no Tatsujin, and various other Bemani products were a staple of the game center-y goodness.

And I spent an hour getting a Cristo figure out of a UFO catcher so that super can finally sleep at night. (I managed to snag a few other things in the process, but I stopped when I finally got that damn Cristo-shaped hunk of plastic.)

Suikoden IV - I still can't get hold of the other Suikodens yet, so thought I'd replay this and get everything. Currently levelling people to 99, getting all items, levelling weapons to 16, etc.

Also, occasionally, Pokemon Diamond - trying to get a Lucky Egg & get one of each Pokemon. (My final aim for it is to have one of each Pokemon at Lv 100 and EV-trained.)

Was somewhat convinced to continue my sidequesting in FFXII. The day before, I got Adrammelech - uhm, didn't even know I was going into a boss fight. Wasn't exactly as hard as it was frustrating, but you can pretty much decimate the chap with Quickenings.

I fininished the White Mousse quest, the   . . dragon wanting revenge and some kid dragged me over somewhere in a boat currently. I have to find a cactuar, though I'm fairly certain it's the one I hunted for the villagers in the first place. Decided to de-rail from that sidequest, and do the one involving Barheim Passage. But it's caved in! And I need a key! And the guy with the key is in there! O-N-O-E-S! Unless I get a scene going back to the prompt saying I need a key, I'll just get in through the Castle. I think it's how I got in the first place.

Ah, isn't that cool?  You're exploring this cave, just thinking, "where does this thing turn out?" and you stumble into the depths and are confronted by a horror beyond imagining.  FFXII gets major style points for that setup.

It made me wish that FFXII had just abandoned its central narrative and said "Here. Here are some adventures and stuff. If you want a place to start exploring, look around town and people might tell you stuff." I think the only thing I might miss are a couple of Balthier quotes.

Nice.  hm, for all that the outside environment is nice, FFXII does caves and underground areas well (the fact that most of them are filled with monsters probably beyond your level helps with the atmosphere, to be sure)

Iji: All posters gotten, Sector Z done.   Started on an Immortal run (Under 100 damage taken), and I've taken no damage through 3 sectors.  Was pacifist, but since I'm past Krotera, painful stuff that can one shot my Health 1 is getting reflected.

WoW: Eh. Still tooling around.

BoFV: Tantra soon!

Iji: Played through this once. Quasi-pacifist run. Less than five kills. Not perfect, unfortunately, but hey.

Kingdom Hearts: Agrabah. Bandit Heartless are a pain in the ass. Do the shops ever start stocking new equipment? Defensive gear that doesn't suck, say?

The best you ever get out of them is -aga Chains, which're +3 defense and some elemental resists.  The game does, however, start throwing better free equips at you after events soon.
