Wallace & Gromit: Muzzled

Mediocre. Quite a letdown after the last one. Half the puzzles feel like they were phoned in. I hope they're just saving the good stuff for the final.

Another Code: Two Memories

Also mediocre. Would feel more like a primer on using touchscreen controls than anything else bar for the fact that there are comparatively barely any puzzles. The memory segments are completely pointless as there's no drawback to choosing the wrong answers. Didn't get all the secret cards, but considering where some of the ones that I did get were, not to mention the general pointlessness of the contents of the cards themselves, I see no reason to waste time looking for the others.

Mana Kehma: Damn, I don't know whether I should turn the voices because Pamela's annoys me so much.  Mainly, because I'd lose Flay.  Urgh.

Anyways, battle system with a Full party is a goddamn blast.  Taking out five enemies before they can even attack is badass.

Crisis Core: Sneaking is boring. Missions are not. Hence, I've wiped out Wutai's entire Crescent force while standing outside that frozen encampment in chapter 6.

For what its worth, Sneaking yields nothing but a few short term rewards (as in, things that are mostly just extras of stuff you already have, or will be getting soon anyway, depending on what missions you do.)  So if you want, just fail it 6 times or whatever, and the game just pities you and lets you charge in regularly.

WAXF:  Are there any more maps that require Tony?

I want to play around with Clarissa as a damage queen. How would I go about making Sacrifice do more damage?

I had her using DS equips and OCs as an Excavator for a while, but while she managed to always be the first one to get up close to an enemy, she could never kill anything. Changed her back to a DS and now she kills things dead, but takes forever to get the enemy... *grumble*...

Excavator has no offensive stats, so yeah, that's to be expected.

Sacrifice is based on MAG, has a beastly multiplier and ignores res. It's pretty much straight-up the most damaging attack on the PC side in the game, although under certain circumstances it can be surpassed by Six-Shooter. If you want to get more damage out of it, go to Elementalist. If you want more Move, get Elementalist EQ, switch to the class of your choice, and equip a book. Also, if you aren't yet, use the Fantastica OC's Rush.

Tony is never required for any map after you gain the ability to hire generics. I don't think there's even a battle where he's especially useful after you get the second group of classes (since Excavator and Geomancer cover all your movement needs).

Erwin Schrödinger will kill you like a cat in a box.
Maybe.

I still have to deal with story.  Sure, I can skip it.  But it's becoming to much of a habit to let things play through all the way.

Valkyria Chronicles: Clear game replay.  Chapter 7 became the Audrey show although Largo got some action when she finally ran out of ammo.   Playing chicken with Selvaria was also more of an option--Scouts and Rosie dodged, crouching Lancer could probably take 4 maybe 5 salvos.   Edelweiss is also a bit more fun as you can ignore mines until the giant field stage and make sniper-esque shots with the maxed out cannon.

Dragon Quest V (DS):  I figured I'd make a file for each bride.  A point in Bianca's favor is that she actually starts at a decent level.

ToS2: Up to Chap 5!

Sheena's entrance was pretty awesome, and yay to them actually remembering she had a theme song, and making a half decent rendition of it!

I stand by this game has yet to really be anything offensive or horrible; its done really nothing to stand out as far as a Tales game goes, one way or another.  The game is good at capturing the personalities of the older characters, at least, and makes fun of their little gimmick traits still.

Well, no, Regal comes off as a different character...for understandable reasons; he's not emo and angsty anymore!  The added addition of making cracks about his companies products are amusing at times.  So yes, I guess you could say its possible to like Regal in ToS2 even if you hated him in ToS1 <_<?

Tenebrae remains awesome in general though.

In Aito Caves in Shadow Hearts. Characters: Johnny, Natan, Mao and Hilda. I'm going to put Ricardo in for Mao, but I'm currently getting coins for the plays. The first one, Meowmenator, was adorable. Second one, I didn't exactly get the reference if there was a clear one. Anyway, I'm not liking the process of getting Hilda's magazines varying per form with some random NPC in some random town. Otherwise the game is fine.

Storyline and ALL of the characters are making my brain melt. Frank was originally stomacheable, then he began to decline swiftly after Chicago. Mao is totally filler, as is Ricardo, but at least they're useful in battles. Hilda is only acceptable as Curvy Hilda in-story because the scenes are just so ridiculous. Johnny is the anti-detective, somehow Shania is assumed to be the leader and Johnny cowers to her but she lacks any logical thinking besides run, jump, take my clothes off or stubbornly say "I'm fine" and fall down. Speaking of which, how did she know Lady's name in Machu Pichu when she's consistently referred to her as "that woman"? You'd figure if you were hellbent on killing someone, you'd discover their name. Natan gained some redeemable points in Aito Caves by telling Johnny something that should have been said when they first met and embarked on a fucking journey together. Killer is a pussy, Lady is a mute bitch and Gilbert is repulsive and if there's a man out there that reflects his stature, please do not reproduce.

Besides the storyline being "zomg let's follow and kill, have no clue what's going on!!!" the fucking writing is predictable, annoying and they definitely don't need to point out things that should be clearly understood by gamers at the age of 3. "Oh, if you press this button---" STFU I ALREADY KNOW. Your naive scene is unnecessary!

Music is good. Battle system is acceptable though I find it easier to be indecisive about the characters to use sometimes.

P4 - Reverse trap get! Shadow Naoto was cool, though a tad easy - despite spamming fire against my fire weak Narasimha, which I had for Power Charge'd nastiness. Actually just fused it in advance for when I hit 53 and can fuse Tam Lin for great awesome.

Naoto seems like a S. Link I want to do, but I'm not using her so the in-use characters get priority. Really interested in using her on a second playthrough though; the entirely aggressive skillset seems like it would be fun to work with, and she's interesting aside from all that.

Already done with Chie S. Link, Yosuke, Yukiko, and Rise are all coming along nicely.

Generation of Chaos: Aedis Eclipse- Playing this since I was on the road/on a trip. Got through the full tutorial and the first story mission. Slammed my head against the wall a few times on the second before I realized I could go into the BLUE dots on the map for battles to level up. Slightly more refined than GoC4 with a better tutorial, but not nearly as fun.

P4 - Played up until I ran out of SP on the second floor of the bath house. Don't like Teddie, don't like Chie, and Yosuke and Dojima are awesome. Kanji doesn't seem like someone I'm going to like much either, unless he becomes more tolerable after his hilariously awesome/creepy shadow self is taken care of.  Definitely feels like a P3 done much better. Can't wait to get some more levels, though, so I'll have more fusion options. Fusion forecast is also very helpful. Turned the persona I'd normally not be using anymore into one that's incredibly useful thanks to an Endurance boost and an additional attack spell.

XF - Up to 2-3. 1-14 was the only battle in the tough end-C1 arc that gave me a reset this time, though the others are all moderately troubling. Sacred Slayers and Elementalists are just fine in 2-2, they can lob spells up from the area below, then take care of the reinforcements.

Messing around with VC on new game+, trying to get this one last PC (Knute, engineer) to show up and having absolutely no luck. I've been using all the people who list him as a friend, had them get plenty of kills, get KO'd themselves, whatever might trigger his recruitment. Nothin'. What a jerk.

Anyway, up to [Normandy], A-ranking everything because of lol overpowered army. Some of the voiceclips in this game still make me laugh out loud. "Yay, happy grass!"
